Two New Mega Pokémon Revealed… Accidentally!

The official Korean Pokémon site has accidentally shown off two previously unseen Mega Evolutions: Mega Slowbro & Mega Audino! According to Serebii Mega Audino’s type is Normal/Fairy and its ability is Healer with its Defense and Sp. Attack being raised, while Mega Slowbro has the ability Shell Armor and higher Defense & Sp. Defense.

  4. Wow. I completely butchered the initial order of the X2/Y2 Gym Leaders.
    That’s because I need to keep the original Kalos town/city locations somewhat intact. Before they were all over the place. XD
    Now you start in Eastern Kalos, and end off in Southern Kalos after circling around.

  7. One thing that I forgot to bring up earlier that I think might b very interesting. With the reveal of Mega Slowbro and Audino the idea of them adding Pokemon to the Hoenn dex once again comes to mind. I’m pretty sure the Slows weren’t natively in RSE and Audino most definitely wasn’t obviously. However these new Megas beg the question of what Pokemon they intend to bring to ORAS’ prospective dex. Is it possible they will add Pokemon that weren’t even around during gen 3 that also have no ties to other Pokemon to the dex such as Audino? Even if it is only a small number I think this is a very interesting idea as well as welcome in my personal opinion.

  14. OMG!!!! I just realized “Mega” Audino does not have the mega evolution sign next to it in battle!!! It could be just an evolution!!! And Slowbro, well, i have no clue…

    • That’s an interesting observation, however, I don’t think would add new evolution to Pokémon since we’re still in the 6th generation.

      • yes, but it is a possibility that we will get actual evolutions for older pokemon too. They are new games, so theres no limits to what they cant do…. But, lets see… I mean, every one is saying that Audino is a strange mega to give… even out of all the 5th gen pokemon..

  19. Here it is anyways:

    ~ First up is Kyle. Kyle is the first Gym Leader in Kalos and resides in Crashnaw City, your new hometown on the Eastern side of Kalos. He specializes in the Rock-type, and is originally from Sinnoh.
    ~ Up next is Mark, who resides in Starburn City. He is a Fire-type Gym Leader and is originally from Unova. He is great friends with Brycen from Pokestar Studios. They both work at and run Starburn Studios, as well.
    ~ Stephanie is the third Gym Leader, who resides in Laverre City. She is a Fairy-type Gym Leader, and is Kyle’s sister. You can battle them both in the Gym Leader rematches postgame.
    ~ Clemont is back as a Gym Leader, but is the 4th one this time around. He still resides in Lumiose City, and specializes in the Electric-type, but now he runs his Gym with Bonnie as well.
    ~ Grant is also back as a Gym Leader, but is the 5th Gym Leader this time. He now specializes in the Water-type, and resides in Coumarine City. He appears to be in a relationship with Viola.
    ~ Korrina is also back as a Gym Leader, but is the 6th one this time. She still specializes in the Fighting-type and resides in Shalour City. She will give you a Mega Lopunny this time around, rather than a Lucario.
    ~ Next up is Vakoma, who is a Poison-type Gym Leader, and the 7th of 8 Gym Leaders. You actually have three battles with her in the main story, due to the fact that Team Flare interrupts two of them (similar to the anime!) Your first battle with her will be in Cyllage City, your second in Camphrier, and your final battle in the Lumiose Sewers.
    ~ Viola has gotten quite stronger as time went on! She is now the 8th and final Gym Leader rather than the first, which is quite the improvement! She still resides in Santalune City, and specializes in the Bug-type. Her gym has been redesigned as well, however. Santalune City also got quite the expansion. Viola is also the Battle Frontier coordinator for the Kalos Region, alongside her sister Alexa. AWESOME, HUH? 😀

    This is still in VERY early stages. Feel free to give any feedback. But please no strong hate. I tried my best ;_;

          • That is true. Any suggestions for a big role?
            I was initially thinking that she gave you an item called the Mega Capsule, which you could use to Mega Evolve more than 1 Pokemon in a battle, but I got some hate for that.

            Another idea would be something similar to a Dowsing Machine that can help you collect Mega Stones.

            I could also consider making her the Champion or something, as Diantha is no longer there 😉

          • Mega Capsule = OP. I rather them keep Mega Evolution to 1 Pokemon. Dowsing Machine getting an upgrade to find Mega Stones is a good idea!

        There have been some changes of order, due to the placement of the cities/towns, but everything else is pretty much the same, with a few minor exceptions. 🙂

    • Thinking about this roster a bit. I believe that a new first Gym Leader is good! Stephanie should be replaced with Valerie. I see no reason to why she’s gone. Vakoma should be a Dark-Type and Viola needs to be replaced with someone stronger. Bug at the end game is not a good idea.

        I was a bit hectic about putting Viola at the end but the reason for it is because of the way you navigate the Kalos Region; starting on the Eastern side and ending on the Southern side (like a circle).

        I chose Vakoma to be a Poison-type because you battle her in the Sewers, and sure on putting Valerie back! 😀
