I’m like that with some subjects. English, for example. But usually it takes a while for things to stick, and that’s just the way it is. I did have a 3.75 last year though, and I was in a pretty bad depressed state.
Same. I study/work harder in Math, cause good grades does not equal me understanding math. It just means I do the homework and participate. I usually don’t do so well on the tests.
And weighted GPA or unweighted? Cause if that’s unweighted, that is impressive! Mine was around the same, I only know my weighted, kinda. And if it’s weighted, then it’s better than some people. 😀
My unweighted was 3.7 or something, but it’s close enough. I always go with the higher number 😛

The thing about me is that I’m a visual learner and no matter how hard I try, I just find it difficult to study via reading books. However, when it comes to lectures, i can understand some things quite well. When it comes down to it though. I say that for me, it’s the willingness to try that gets you through it all. I’ve had some rough times. Not going to lie. However, I did my best regardless.
I think a lot of people overestimate how “busy” they really are in HS. From experience, you’re only truly “busy” after you graduate HS into the real world. That’s not to discredit anyone that’s in HS, I know I had a lot to do during my 4 years. But from what I’m doing now… HS was easy.

I know how you feel. In my recent art class (I took it because I needed the credit an because I enjoy art), I was put in with a bunch of freshman idiots. I was practically mute because they’re not even worth talking to. They turned my favorite class into the worst.
