Seen you guys talking about an ice-type Body Slam below. Which reminded me of why I still want a Mega Lapras with Refrigerate. It has access to Dragon Dance but it’s lacking a good physical ice move. With the ability above, it’d be able to turn Normal Moves (it has Body Slam) into Ice Moves, add that 30% boost plus STAB and watch that Ddance/Body Slam slay. And possibly cause paralysis XD

Alakazam is the only mega to have received a +90 increase instead of +100 LOL. This is extremely odd.
They made an error by increasing regular Alakazam’s Sp. def by 10 for no reason.

I noticed a few Pokemon got stat updates. Like Pidgeot went from 91 speed to 101 speed 0_0
raichu went from 100 to 110 outspeeding half of the metagame and meanwhile my beautiful porygon-z still has 90 speed

How I think about it, is that Fighting-type is the Hero type in Japan (or something like that) and Fairies are mischievous and most are not heroes and try to mess with them.

You are correct. Fighting type in Japan is Hero/Justice type. Which is why Justice is super effective against Evil (Dark) type.
I agree with you. Fighting represent light because heroes fight for justice, hence why Fighting is Supereffective against Dark. It’s really not fair. And Fairy’s resisting it (not that I mind) is a greater kick in the teeth. :'(
Like I said, fairies usually had a bad connotation in the past. They were mischievous tricksters that messed with the heroes and regular everyday people. That’s what I used to justify it.
Fairies are weak to iron (Hence steel weakness) and most fairies are nature-based and polluting nature hurts them (poison weakness)

I baton passed 3 acid armors (+6 def) into smeargle and it still took harsh damage to defense lol. The thing is frail.
