Pokémon Get☆TV — July 6

While we’re NOT expecting Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire to have a huge presence on the show this week, we’re providing our readers with a place to watch and talk about the latest episode of Pokémon Get TV.

A link to a stream of the episode can be found below, but please be aware we will not provide live coverage of the entire episode, though you can expect a write-up of sorts for the game news segment of the show should Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire make an appearance.

        • You have to know the density of the liquid and the density of the Iron Monster. The density of iron is 7870 kg/m^3 and assuming the liquid is water, water’s density is 1000 kg/m^3. the mentioned mass is 800 lb = 362.874 kg. So F(b) = mg(density fluid/density object) so we get
362(9.8)x(1000/7870)= ~451 Newtons. Correct me if I’m wrong, haven’t done physics in so long.

          • Why would you need to know surface area? The only time when you need surface area, as I remembered, is when you’re calculating flow speed.

          • I don’t really know. Just taking a guess assuming the surface area may have an effect. I haven’t done this stuff in years…

          • You’re referring to the formula Pressure = Force/Area? This only applies to solids. When dealing with liquids we use pressure = density*gravity*height
