New information on Sableye’s Mega Evolution has been revealed on the official Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha sapphire website!
Mega Sableye will have higher Defense and Special Attack stats at the cost of its Speed being slightly reduced. It also has the ability Magic Bounce, so any non-damaging status moves, stat reducing attacks, or entry hazards will be reflected back at the user.
During battle, Mega Sableye shelters itself behind the jewel, from where it can take advantage of any openings its target leaves exposed. — Official Site

The defenses will be raised, but it still won’t be too bulky with a 50 base HP. it’ll get to 480 BST, and really that’s the only way it seems it can be viable is in a Trick Room team or screens up.

The Sableye in the Genesect Movie used Psychic, a special move. It was foreshadowing its Mega’s Sp. Atk increase and we all missed it!
As well as Octazooka Sableye being an event. All these sp atk hints lol. And the trailer showed Mega Sableye using Shadow Ball so I kind’ve got the feel that it’s special atk would get increased.
True, but the trailer threw me off though because Sableye used three moves, and two of them were physical (Shadow Sneak and Foul Play).
IKR! For a sec it made me think it was going to get Stance Change since it was using moves Aegislash normally does. And then I started thinking it would get an ability that would double its defenses, looks like I was wrong both times.
We were all wrong. No one saw Magic Bounce coming. It’s so random. Then again, it’s also random for Mega Absol. All I wanted was a Protean Mega Sableye.
At least it can learn Role Play via Move Tutor and use it against those pesky Greninja.

Just because they were once version exclusives doesn’t mean they’ll both get seperate megas. I say this because this Mega Sableye has a red gemstone. If you look at its back it also has blue and green gemstones. Why go with red specifically?

With that boosted defence and access to Calm Mind, it can become quite the tank.
Plus most megas are quite strong so it’s cool to have one like this. It certainly didn’t get the Mawile treatment but I think it has potential if played right.

It’s good and bad. Good because it would really suck for the player’s opponent to manage a critical or dodge a lot of their moves. Bad because it makes the player’s Pokemon more powerful and the boost cannot be used competitively . >.>

Magic Bounce isn’t THAT BAD of an ability. It’s still able to do what it normally does, just without the priority. One of the best ways to cripple Sableye was with status or taunt, but that’s not happening anymore. Sableye will still be useful, but the way it’s used will change.

Plus, it sucks for the person who got mega mawile unless they prefer it and don’t care for mega sableye because the mega stone can be traded from X and Y o_o

Well you’ll lead off with Galvantula which is a speedy special sweeper that’ll lay down a Sticky web
then off to Skarmory to stall with bulk and a combination of Spikes and Whirlwind to damage and lower speed via Sticky

or you can lead off with sableye, opponent goes to taunt you, you mega evolve and magic bounce the taunt back and get in a free nastyplot/calm mind and then put a hole in the foes team.
Will also work well in trick room teams since it’s slow.

While I love Mega Sableye’s design, this thing is pure crap now. It needed Prankster to survive.

Personally, i feel that the yellow-green makes the leafy stuff look more lively because darker colors appear less dull, especially on plants.

Reflect more light = absorb less light
The darker green could be used as a Shiny leaf variation or it could get darker when it evolves due to it getting stronger thus absorbing more light.

Pretty much every dragon is x4 weak to Ice, and no one bats an eye. Introduce the Fairy Type and everybody loses their minds!

Kyogre and Groudon were fighting in RSE, so they were extremely pissed. Primal Dialga was temporary. Primal evolutions work like Mega evolutions, therefore they are also temporary.

Some of it depends on your gender, because menstruation can cause breakouts. I wash my face as often as I can since I’m italian and was cursed with lusciously oily skin. You can always see a dermatologist to get a prescription if it causes a huge issue. My brother had it bad and went down that route.
