Mega Sableye has been confirmed for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The Mega Stone to Mega Evolve Sableye will only be available in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
When Sableye Mega Evolves all its energy is concentrated into the jewel on its chest, which grows in size and detaches from the Pokémon’s body. Mega Sableye uses the jewel to protect itself from oncoming attacks, which apparently hardens providing a huge defensive benefit during battle.

I have noticed a very minute detail which i think is brilliant.
They actually made the light refract as it passes through the Jewel, you can see how Sableye’s arms/ears are slightly distorted..

GameFreak (Yes, I’ve finally called them by their proper name) has taken quite the risks with X and Y. Especially with Mega-Evolution, knowing how many fans may be angered with the change and progression, yet they knew fans would soon grow to love it like every other change that has occurred within the Pokemon World. Weren’tt they always panned for being “safe-players?” Weren’t their games tagged as “boring” and “stale” because they’ve always stuck to their roots. Seeing them take a leap and finally taking the risks needed to burst their bubble was what truly made X and Y revolutionary. Taking risks with Sceptile, Mega-Evolution, Sableye, and one of the most beloved games (Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald) and altering them is a big risk yet they took it.

All this backlash for “not needed megas” is annoying me. People don’t understand the words “Broken” and “Eviolite”. Sableye COULDNT of had a natural evolution. I’m so thankful for these new mechanics and progression, doing big things Gamefreak!

Introducing Mega Evolution in X and Y was a huge risk to begin with, so I don’t see why they would stop. I don’t see people complain about Groudon and Kyogre’s Primal Regression, not as much.

Im gonna just say this ORAS’s map is INSANE
there is so much detail you can find (contest hall,pokemarts,mauville redesign) as well as alot of question that arise from it ( dark cloud, new land form near sootopoliss, clouds covering sky pillar and probably battle frontier)

480 Base Stats for Mega Sableye -_-
not too impressive, but atleast Mega Mawile makes the most of it. Probably due to Huge Power.
Yeah, I think Mega Mawile has the highest attack stat in the game because of Huge Power.

Since Sableye’s gem on it’s chest grew as it Mega-evolved and since shiny Sableye has a green gem on it’s chest, I believe the shield for shiny Mega-Sableye will be green also… Pokemon Delta confirmed? ;X
