I have my first Sceptile ever, my first competitive Sceptile that Jordin bred me when Pokebank was out in Japan, my Timid Shiny Sceptile that MewMew bred me as a gift, my Naive HP Ice Sceptile, a Naive HP Fire Sceptile I’m currently breeding, a Timid HP Fire Sceptile I plan on breeding after, and then a Jolly Sceptile I need to breed as well xD Egg moves included xD

I bet my bottom dollar either Sceptile or Blaziken gets another mega (revealed closer to ORAS release).
Charizard Y was shown first, and was special oriented. Just like Sceptile. They could be showing off its special variant first before showing the physical one.
Blaziken may very well receive one over Sceptile because Blazikenite will be pretty dated by time ORAS rolls around.

So I’m doing a wonderlocke. My team so far consists of a gible, a bulbasaur, a yanma, a bergmite, a spritzee, and an aerodactyl. It’s going pretty well.
Playing your X ? I been trying to soft reset for a shiny fennekin on my digital copy of X. No luck yet. Youtubers get it so quick lol.

wonderlock is when you catch 6 pokemon, and wonder trade them all and have to use the 6 pokemon you receive from wondertrade as your main pokemon. When one dies/faints, you have to wondertrade it off.

To Soft Reset on X
– Standing in Aquacorde Town, Save before u sit @ the table
– When Tierno gives you starter, check if its shiny, if not
– Then Soft Reset by Pressing L + R + Select
– Repeat steps 1 through 3 til your starter is shiny
it helps if you have a good trainer ID

Yeah save in front of shauna before receiving it, and keep soft resetting til she gives you a shiny starter

Yep ^_^ and it takes you back to the title screen so then you can keep re-doing it until she gives you a shiny poke.

nope. each egg has their own value that is determined before you pick it up.
I would say breeding for shinies is easier than soft resetting for them though (atleast from my experience)

Any Pokemon you receive when talking to a person (Lapras), or any Pokemon you have to talk to (barre a few shiny locked ones: Victini, Resh, Zek, Zyg, Xer, Yve)

Soft Reset is where you save at a point where you can get a Pokemon (i.e. starters) then you go through the process of getting it, etc. Not a shiny then press ‘R’, ‘L’ ‘Start’ and ‘Select’ and you start again
Wonderlocke is where you get a pokemon, Wonder Trade it and can only use what you receive, if the Pokemon faints then it is considered ‘dead’ and you cannot use it again

By the way, did you ever successfly soft reset for a starter? And if so how many SR’s did it take? I’m going for fennekin right now, never done it before (I’m used to hatching shinies)
I’m so sorry, I didn’t get the notification to tell me someone replied. I’ve tried but never had the patience for it (was going to do it for White and Tepig and did about 5 hours worth, no luck)

I have a Shiny Ursaring on SS and yup! It’s the best at Horde training + Pickup. It gets Sweet Scent, Rock Slide, Earthquake, which is just amazing for Horde training xD
