I’d have to say that last year when Pokémon X&Y information was coming out and my site was getting too much traffic which ultimately caused it to be down for about a week was the worst ever for me. Not fun at all 🙁

Contrary to the “leaked” image that Serebii “allegedly” posted (I don’t know if he ever talked about that image) but I feel like Shiftry & Ludicolo won’t get mega evolutions.
I’m just noticing that out of all the Pokemon that mega evolve, none of them had previous evolutions that required stones to evolve. Nuzleaf & Lombre need stones to evolve, in a sense, their pretty much @ their mega.
He tweeted something about it that explained that it wasn’t leaking anything. Can’t exactly remember the tweet.
Ahhh! I believe him then. Cause none of the Pokemon that mega evolve has family members that deal with Leaf Stone etc. Metal Coat, yes! But no other evolutionary stones.

Well, I was thinking about that “leaked/fake” image that said Ludicolo & Shiftry would mega evolve. And then I was thinking, but there isn’t any Pokemon that evolves by leaf stone etc that can mega evolve. And then I was thinking about an NPC in Geosenge town that said something about evolutionary stones & mega stones may be related.
After looking @ all the Pokemon that can mega evolve, I came to the conclusion that if you can evolve from an evolutionary stone, you can’t mega evolve. I mean this all so random & sudden but you know how I get with my random theories lol.
Maybe the radiation exposed from an evolutionary stone won’t allow a pokemon to change forms again such as the use of a mega stone.

It’s funny you say that. Trapinch is my first MM Shiny ever back in Gen 5. It even hatched on a very historic day for the Mets :3 Then I realized I could pass down nature, and bred a second Jolly natured Shiny. And now that I know about IV breeding and egg moves, I plan to breed one last Shiny Trapinch for my playthrough of ORAS :3

Although Kanga is easier to take out now that it’s so commonly used, I still think Parental Bond needs nerfed. 1/4 damage on second hit.
And Power-Up Punch shouldn’t boost its attack on second hit either -_-

Exactly! If I’m not mistaken, someone said that parental bond is the close to the same as life orb damage, except you also get the stat boost from mega evolution. So it’s like mega evolution stat boosts + life orb + more power if using power up punch.

Yup. I’ve been thinking about breeding for Bergmite. That sturdy ability, insane defense, and rocky helmet is so fricken annoying. I faced one the other day and made up my mind that its the first Ice type I’ll train.

I guess it depends on how popular they are. Remember. Megas are biased (with the exception of Mawile getting the Mega, and not Sableye because most people seem to remember Sableye more before XY).

so i have a theory about how tipping could be related to shiny pokemon. It’s probably already been stated, but i think the amount you tip takes that much off the chance of finding a shiny. Say the rate is 1/8200, and you tip 1000? makes the chances 1/7200?

I know. Once Gallade was revealed, almost no one ever used Gardevoir again. I think it’s only fair that Gardevoir got the Fairy typing and Mega, and not Gallade.
The problem? Gardevoir’s too good!!! What was supposed to be balance between the two, ended up being one outshining the other so greatly, that no one wants to use Gallade now. Now, Gen VII will have to give Gallade a Mega to make him popular again, but might risk making him too good again, thus overshadowing Gardevoir once more.
Or just give Gallade bullet punch. Problem resolved.
