Pokémon Get TV to Air First Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Footage

It has been announced that this Sunday’s Pokémon Get TV episode will premier world exclusive footage of The third generation remakes. Few details were revealed about the games besides their box art and November 2014 release window. Iwata told investors that the games will be full remakes of the original Ruby and Sapphire games. The Japanese Pokémon Daisuki Club site also questioned what the two cover Pokémon were, giving way to speculation that they’ll receive new formes of some type in the remakes.

    we possibly see a Zygarde tie in for postgame as its pokedex entry states “it is monitoring those who destroy the ecosystem deep within its cave” both kyogre and groudon destroy each others ecosystem by either expanding the land or the sea. Could it mean that not only the legendaries of their respective games receive alpha and omega forms, but Zygarde also receives an alpha or omega form as its “hidden power” if that’s the case ee may not even see a pokemon Z, but a straight jump to gen 7 after this I personally think gen 6 was too small in terms of pokemon and they may just pull a move like this. Any thoughts?

  12. I wonder how and if (Mega) Zygarde will play into this. Maybe Rayquaza can’t quell Groudon or Kyogre when they go Mega, and that’s when (Mega) Zygarde makes its appearance D:

  14. I hope Mr. Stone gives you your starter’s respective Mega Stone, and then Steven gives you the Beldum as normal, but this time it has Metagross’ Mega Stone.

        • Yeah, I always was like, ‘Really? I saved your life.’
          And then he gives you the Repeat Ball if you go though the cave (can’t rememeber the name) after all the quests are done, I’m like, ‘What. I saved your life on multiple occasions and done all of your errands.
          This is what I get?!?!’
          I think, at that point, he’ll give us the Mega Ring, and if you go back to Mr. Stone, he’ll give you the Mega Stone for your starter.
          As for the EXP Share he used to give….there are other people in this world who you can get it from!

        Remember the backpacker said his region has “its own Facility like you wouldn’t believe?” Well the Battle Frontier has the Battle Facility. What if Hoenn & this New Region both share the same Battle Frontier. 16 Badges, Battle Frontier, Contests, +other little mini-post game contest. I’d be willing to pay 100 bucks for that shit.

        • What if after you beat Hoenn, we show somebody the Strange Souvenir item, and they’re like “OMG you’ve totally been to that InsertNewNameHere region haven’t you? And you select “No!” and he goes Oh okay here take this ticket and board the so & so to this new region. They have gyms and stuff there too” I’D DIE!!!

  17. Reasons why I don’t think zygarde would cancel out the weather trio
    -rayqauza locks out their weather inducing powers
    -kalos and hoenn aren’t very related at all
    -zygarde isn’t part of the trio, knowing game freak it isn’t
    -the weather duo are quelled by rayquaza who pretty much fixes everything to save everyone’s asses, Again and again.
    -just doesn’t fit

          • true. And I think they know that every one has been waiting for that Rayquaza scene in 3D …

            But what if they twist it up and its an even greater scene where Groudon/Kyogre are battling on land, a bunch of other wild Pokemon are fighting joining along causing a big war, and then after Rayquaza comes out and does his thing, Zygarde pops up out of nowhere like “pffttt bitch look at my secret power” and Mega Evolves and starts shooting out thousands of arrows against everyone… Thousand Waves sending out tremors on the floor. And just wrecks havoc showing Zygarde how its done.

            Kk I’m just kidding but that sounds like a really good movie.

          • Or Groudon/Kyogre go Mega, and Rayquaza can’t quell such awesome POWA! XD And that’s when Zygarde comes to the rescue and Thousand Arrows/Thousand Waves betches xD

        • Which allows it to calm the clash between the two Pokemon. But this is An R/S remake, not Emerald, they didn’t fight in Ruby and Sapphire, instead there was just an unbalance and Rayquaza never appeared in the story. They could change things now where the unbalance Groudon or Kyogre cause in their respective games awakens Mega Zygarde. Never know :O

          • No which does make holes in the theory but it’s ability and description pretty much covers that hole

          • Mmhmm! In Ruby and Sapphire, Groudon/Kyogre were awakened in their game, and caused a major disturbance in the weather. Groudon caused a drought, Kyogre caused heavy rainfall. But they never fought, it was about calming that one legendary from disrupting the balance that exists xD

          • In Emerald, BOTH were awakened, and that’s when the player was forced to find Rayquaza to stop the fighting and restore order

          • Aqua and magma are back with the vice captains in charge (Shelly and tabitha) who seek groudon/kyogre to awaken their true forms to achieve their former goal. Because one is too powerful on itself rayquaza quells it but can’t do so meaning you must capture rayquaza and fight/catch the legendary OR, you catch the legendary

          • It’s not a sequel. It’s a full-remake, but there will be some plot twist obviously given the Megas xD

          • Well they could go through different measures and the ending would take place somewhere epic or completely different

    • And also, sure Zygarde does prevent imbalances in the ecosystem, I thought it referred to Xerneas and Yveltal. Like, if Xerneas creates more life/makes a lot of things immortal, then Zygarde will neutralize it by calling Yveltal or canceling it itself. Or if Yveltal causes more destruction, vice versa. It’s why Zygarde’s ability neutralizes the auras of the other two, not of weather/abilities of Groudon and Kyogre.

      • Yup ecosystem is part of the Eco sphere, whilst the atmosphere is weather, hence why rayqauza lives in the atmosphere

        • Well, Groudon inflicts volcanoes/droughts, so it affects the earth. But they are talking of two different ways of ecosystems. The weather trio is for weather/earth. The other is for life/ecosystem of organisms if you will.

            I totally agree with you. Zygarde should not be a part of it. It’s not even related to their conflict. It neutralizes conflict of life/death, not of weather/geography/earth.

          • If zygarde was perfect in x and y and not a pushover we wouldn’t have silly theories on zygarde because it simply does not mesh together at all

    • I aagree. I really don’t want Zygarde to interfere with the weather trio in any way. The weather trio has a perfect balance in itself.

      Also Zygardes ecosystem balance thing I belive refers only to maintaining a balance between life and death. The weather should be Rayquazas job.

      • Yeah, as I said below, I always interpreted Zygarde with dealing with Xerneas and Yveltal. Which is why it’s ability deals with neutralizing their abilities, not of Groudon’s and Kyogre’s.

  19. Interesting theories.
    I don’t know how many people realise this but the big cut scene everyone is rooting for was in Emerald only and not in RS.
    However having said that, HGSS did incorporate some of Crystals storyline into it, so it could still happen.
    Maybe in OR your main focus will be on Team Magma, but when Aqua hear what Magma are planning they think the only way to stop them is to awaken Kyogre (acting as some kind of antiheroes), not realising of course that this would lead to the events of Emerald.

    • I want the cutscene to still happen. It’s just too awesome.
      And I can see that happening. Like, the other team is trying to help keep the world the same, but it just ends up backfiring in their face.

          • Or maybe the leader is confused thinking ‘what the hell is a going on?’. Then Wallace or Steven can show up and explain some history telling us to find Rayquaza

          • That definitely works too, like the same way in Emerald, in a way.
            Like you go to Sootopolis, see the feud in a cutscene, someone leads you to the cave to Wallace or Steven, and they tell you to find Rayquaza.
            I’m definitely getting too excited for my own good.
