It has been announced that this Sunday’s Pokémon Get TV episode will premier world exclusive footage of The third generation remakes. Few details were revealed about the games besides their box art and November 2014 release window. Iwata told investors that the games will be full remakes of the original Ruby and Sapphire games. The Japanese Pokémon Daisuki Club site also questioned what the two cover Pokémon were, giving way to speculation that they’ll receive new formes of some type in the remakes.

Okay serious question here. Do you think that for integrating berries they are going to use the big tree/bush type thing from X&Y in these remakes? Or do you think they will go back to the smaller plants like in the earlier gens? I’m sure they’ll have to reduce the size, but I’m just curious as to what you guys think.
I think they will stay with the tree graphics.
Interesting, cause some routes had like four berries to a plot so I wonder what they’ll do for that then? Just reduce the amount of berries on each route? Because I feel like 4 huge trees in a row on a route will take up too much space. They could use the small berry plants from the berry field though. That may work.

Never really implied that as I know PJ as a whole has not grown because of me but with a big channel definitely helping to promote the site like during B/W 2 and during X and Y that definitely helped PJ out alot though im not saying I was the biggest reason but I am saying I am 1 reason that helped PJ grow in members since alot of these other PokeNews sites generally grow alot and I knew that PJ deserved alot to be right along side if not better 🙂
And I only want to continue helping PJ to grow even more promoting them during the Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire season linking the site in every video and getting people to check out this wonderful amazing PokeNews site out 🙂

Pokémon Plus and Minus were old debunked rumours though, along with Sigma and Omega. And seeing as these are called Alpha and Omega, those leaks look like a shot in the dark.

but Pokebank is susceptible to updates though. It’s currently on V1.1. They could send out out an update/patch, and when we try to use it with ORAS we’ll get a message like “Please proceed to a point in the game where you have national dex”.
Also, we know more new Mega’s are coming in ORAS. So we’re going to have to wait for them to send out that Version 2 patch update of XY that makes them compatible with ORAS. Hopefully they don’t take months with that like how they took long with Bank.
Who’s to say that Gen VI Pokemon won’t already be in the game? Post game maybe.
I would be okay with a 100% remake if they made a sequel to pokemon emerald after wards.

Remakes are intended to be the same as they were before, storyline wise, maybe it’ll be told a little differently but that’s a given.

You’re right, Hoenn is nothing like Johto, it’s a THOUSAND times better than Johto ever was, is and always will be. Opinions are for everyone so don’t deny mine as if I can’t have a say on that matter.
And as for them being the same, I said there is room for changes albeit small ones. You didn’t see HG/SS storyline be faltered at any point, and with the addition of Mega Evolution’s and every other new feature and Game changer that came after Gen III, I’m sure they’ll be implemented while leaving the main bulk of the story intact.
P.S This is a place for discussions, there’s bound to be disputes and unpleasant things, you can’t have everything peaceful so maybe you need a role call.

As seen from the boxart, it’s evident they’ll be mentioning megas before postgame.
Kalos isn’t the only region that’s capable of mega evolution. Remember Red/Mr. Fuji in the Origins special?
