New Moves for Zygarde!

Recent RAM dumps of XY by Slashmolder on GBATemp have brought to light  new moves that may have be related to the Legendary Pokémon, Zygarde. Three new moves have been discovered in total, with further details such as power, accuracy and description (hidden in the spoiler below)

Normal (Special)
Power: —
Accuracy: —
PP: 40
The user and an ally hold hands.
This makes them very happy.

Thousand Arrows
Ground (Physical)
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
This move also hits opposing Pokemon
that are in the air. Those Pokemon are
knocked down to the ground.

Thousand Waves
Ground (Physical)
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
The user attacks with a wave
that crawls along the ground.
Those hit can’t flee from battle.[/spoiler]

What do you guys think? I think it’s a huge hint that we’ll be getting two new games like we did with  BW2 🙂 Thousand Waves also caught my eye, could this be a better version of Sand Tomb that has no turn limit?

  1. If Mega Evolution can only occur in Kalos, then how will Pokémon Mega Evolve in future regions and Neo Hoenn? My prediction is that more giant Mega Stone Crystals like the one in Anistar City will be discovered in those regions.

  3. I just thought of something. You know how in B2W2, Colress mentions over and over that he wants to discover the true potential of Pokémon? Could he have been foreshadowing Mega Evolution the whole time?

  4. If Pokémon can only Mega Evolve with a strong bond with a trainer, then imagine how devastating it would be to have a Pokémon Mega Evolve out of jealousy and through a Dark Energy.

  9. Okay I find names a bit cheesy and lazy if there is no meaning of thousand, and it is there to make it cool.

    And I find it funny that it says thousand waves and in the desription it says “a wave”.

  10. Cool! I didn’t know that! I like both moves. I love to destroy Rotoms-W, Talonflames, Charizards, and Gengars with Thousand Arrows ;). Too bad it appears Zygrade exclusive xD.

  16. I’m going to get going soon. Before I do, I have a quick question. Why isn’t Hoopa last in the National Dex? It could have restarted the “Psychic Mythical Pokémon Ends the National Dex Trend” that Genesect broke in Gen V. And before you say it, Arceus didn’t break it because it can be a Psychic Type.

          • In Arceus’ case, it was last because it was basically God. In Genesect’s case, it was last because it was more powerful than the other mythical Pokemon in Unova. Or at least that’s what I think.

          • Yes, this is a good story! So I started out this Pokemon life as a guest on Pokemonepisode.org, under the name ShinyHaxorus. I chose that name because I liked the simple black shiny color. After about a month I decided to make an account but I saw that ShinyHaxorus was already taken. So, in my finding of a new representative, I realized that Xatu (which also had an X involved in the name) matched my social structure: quiet, considerate, and relatively intelligent. I also respected the fact that it’s shiny was not noticeably different from other Xatu’s yet unique, just like myself 🙂 THAT’S A LOTTA WORDS.

          • That is a really good story, I didn’t realize Xatu was that important to you. And you sound like a amazing person 🙂 thanks for sharing that story with me! My fav pokemon is charizard ( hold up before you called me a genwunner! XD) pokemon red was my first game and charizard was my first ever pokemon! I had lot’s of good times with it! ( even tho the girls picked on me cause they said charizard was a boy pokemon :s) Spamming fire spins all the way through the Elite 4 XD it’s a very special pokemon to me :S

          • Well, you can’t beat Mega Charizard X AND Y 😀 And I’m glad you liked my story. Some people find my choice strange, but they never really asked why.

          • lol! every pokemon deserves some love. So, besides being uber smart do you play any sports or do any other extra circulars with your school?

          • I play Ultimate Frisbee on Fridays which is something, I guess XD I’m a very fast sprinter but I am not really willing to commit to 3 hour practices every day. There’s a reason why I’m here so often 😛 And I will do some volunteering in the summer!

    • Technically X/Y also broke the 100 base stat all per gen. But Diancie is 600 BST. The just moved 50 from hp and speed and put it into def and spdef.
