New Moves for Zygarde!

Recent RAM dumps of XY by Slashmolder on GBATemp have brought to light  new moves that may have be related to the Legendary Pokémon, Zygarde. Three new moves have been discovered in total, with further details such as power, accuracy and description (hidden in the spoiler below)
Hold Hands
Normal (Special)
Power: —
Accuracy: —
PP: 40
The user and an ally hold hands.
This makes them very happy.

Thousand Arrows
Ground (Physical)
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
This move also hits opposing Pokemon
that are in the air. Those Pokemon are
knocked down to the ground.

Thousand Waves
Ground (Physical)
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
The user attacks with a wave
that crawls along the ground.
Those hit can’t flee from battle.
What do you guys think? I think it’s a huge hint that we’ll be getting two new games like we did with  BW2 🙂 Thousand Waves also caught my eye, could this be a better version of Sand Tomb that has no turn limit?

  2. This to me sounds like a confirmation of Z. With Zygarde getting another Mega and these moves, it sounds great. It gets an ability that reverses type effectiveness, then use Thousand Waves and Thousand arrows and BAM KOed Yv. Also, it has a couple snakish things coming off of it’s back, I think there could develope into 1000.

    • Why mega -_-
PEOPLE WHY ARE YOU SHUNNING FORMS? THEY ARE PERMANANT
Most likely forms they are abusing mega evos now….

      • Because THEY ARE PERMANENT. It’s Pokedex entry says it turns into it only when there’s chaos. Plus, GF is really focusing on Mega Evos this Gen, and it would make sense.

        • It turns into into it when the Eco system is in dismay, meaning it does it on its own.
It was even said in the game it requires the heart of a trainer to activate it so it must be a form change. If it’s a mega I’m going to just quite because we care getting too many…

          • Mewtwo and Latios/Latias are legends who got mega’s, zygarde will also the same. There is a reason why it has 600 base stats (because Mega’s induce Pokemon with a 100 stat increase).700 base stat Mega Zygarde will tie it with Mega Tyranitar/Mega Garchomp

    • Eviolite Zygarde would be annoying though. It’d have to be a mega unfortunately. ESPECIALLY cause of its stat distribution. If it had ….maybe, a 640 base stat, I would’ve been like, yep, form change coming! But 600 is even TOO low for a form change. Not even Kyurem/Giratina’s were THAT low. This just screams Mega.

from 600 to 700, rivaling Mega Garchomp/Mega Tyranitar who both have 700.

        • It can’t. “DUDe-E” said “I want Zygarde to have an Evo & not a mega evo”… I said it would have to be a mega evolution, because if they evolve zygarde naturally, it’ll be able to use Eviolite, making it broken.

careful nature, 252HP/252Sp Def/6Def, Eviolite, it’d laugh at any moonblast.

      • True. I’d still prefer a form change over a mega. They’re overhyping the megas too close to the point of pure OP’ness. If this gets a mega, it’ll probably be too powerful and banished to the depths of Uber battles

        • Well it’s new ability will work like an inverse battle, so it’d probably be straight to Uber by smogon anyway.

Dragon moves will be super effective against Xerneas, Ground super effective against Yveltal.

This is why Inverse battles can only be done out from of Terminus Cave (Zygarde’s home)

          • It’s a theory that backs it up getting a mega.

Its current ability reverses the effects of Xern/Yvel’s abilities. It’s mega ability will reverse the effects of type advantages instead of abilities.

How is it that Inverse battles can be only done in a single house? The NPC there doesn’t have any extroardinary powers, he doesn’t realize his home is on top of Zygarde’s home – the one who’s emitting the inverse aura.

Its also why it has the typing it does, Dragon/Ground.

          • Interesting stuff. I hope the event/Z game adds an interesting plotline to relate that ability to the war

      • However, it says true power, so zygarde is just a mere cocoon. I’m thinking a form change into two things dependent on the moves used

    • To be fair I want forms as well. But how would go about it. We’ve had item based form changes, we’ve had fusions. ..They need something new.

  3. Hi hope zygarde gets a nice boost or a new forme, in the next game. Zygarde is such a cool pokemon but I was hoping for its stat layout to be different.

I’ve heard a few suggestions of giving it a mega evolution which is also an option but honestly I’d prefer a new forme.

Also this is just my stupidity but where is the hint that we might get two new games like bw2 instead of just one ? 🙂 I think it’ll just be one game again this time, but who knows 😉

    • there is no hint that we are getting new games at all. I still bet my bottom dollar on DLC expansion update for our current XY games.

Mainly because the infamous backpacker tells our CURRENT protagonist we will see his region in “due time”… We will have to be using our Current Calem/Serena. ALSO because of Strange Souvenir item, which is the only item not listed in the official strategy guide, and most likely we will keep it in our bags and take it with us to the next region ,unlocking something cool.

        • Back in Aug, before Xy released. He said “there will no PAID DLC”, keyword… “PAID”… He never said No free DLC. Technically, stuff like Diancie etc is DLC, its content that you download.

He also said Kalos Pokemon won’t get mega’s… its evident Zygarde will.

          • NICE! Free expansions! But the Kaolos megas part supports form change theories. The dex says something about it revealing it’s “secret power” at times of environmental distress. I assume the war messed the region so bad Zygarde went ballistic and unleashed this power via form change on the warring nations, thus ending the war

      • That’s what I was thinking exactly because that strange souvenir is a dead giveaway. I was reading the bottom of the article saw that and totally got confused haha
