What do you want from PokéJungle.net?

Here, at PokéJungle.net, I think it’s safe to say all of us are utterly tired with the lack of Pokémon news. There are slow trickles every so often, but nothing huge, or overly interesting. A few of the staff team having been working hard on Retry Level (which we’re actually rethinking, but you should check out!), but there’s actually very little going on.

I thought I’d take to time to ask our dedicated visitors and readers what they’d like to see from PokéJungle. We’ve shared some ideas for site additions before, and ever kickstarted some up, like our tournament – more on that in a second! But we’d like to hear what you’d like from the site; features, something completely new, or more of the same? Perhaps there’s something you’d like to see from a specific staff member? Let us know!

We can’t promise that we can implement every idea or begin work on them, but everything you guys forward to us gives us an idea of what we can do to make the site better, and your chosen Pokémon site.

The majority of you likely remember we announced, and opened sign-ups for our PokéJungle tournament last year. Since then we’ve been pretty hush on it. We’ve decided to hold off on hosting the tournament until summer, so that competitors have the most free time as possible, and over summer is the best chance for that. We’ll have more on our tournament later in the year!

So, yeah! What have you got to say? I’d also like to take this opportunity to ask you to try keep the comments for discussion of this topic, it really does help us knowing what you guys want from the site.     We can use these for JJ
    Normal: Kendama-based Pokémon. Its main body rides atop a giant ball.
    Kriff: Here’s a Kendama.
    Grass: A black-bear whose body is made of berries.
    Fire: Pintata Bull with horns that are torches.Kriff: What’s a Pintata? Oh right, Pinata!
    Water: Sea-bird. Looks like a socialite due to a feather that looks like an ascot.
    Electric: A poodle whose fluffy-parts are statically-charged fur.
    Kriff: Eww. “Fluffy-parts”.
    Bug: Millipede, besides the head its long body is made of bubbles
    Flying: A peacock with a tail that’s a harp.
    Steel: A female-like Pokémon whose long hair is made of long, steel cables.
    Rock: A rock-based snail, its got a bell for a shell, and its body looks like a cathedral.
    Ground: An elephant whose body is covered in hardened mud-armor, more realistic looking than Donphan.
    Psychic: An “Arabian” Pokemon wrapped in a brightly-colored carpet clothing.
    Dark: Raccoon. Its tail serves as a burglar sack, and it’s got a stylish black mask.Kriff: A racoon burglar is quite an American concept. But not entirely out of the question.
    Poison: Little purple lizard, it swings its (very large) broken tail around like a huge club.
    Fighting: A very weird Pokémon who resembles a giant, living sneaker. Cooler looking than it sounds.
    Ice: A Snowman with coal on its head looking like the incense marks Shaolin Monks have.Kriff: I’ve seen this guys done his research. You’d thing he was the one who designed it himself!
    Ghost: A kasa-obake (umbrella ghost) that’s brightly colored and “fancy” looking.Kriff: A “Kasa kozou” as it more often called by Japanese natives, is a popular concept we saw fakes for in the past. Here’s a pic.
    Dragon: A Kirin that looks like a dragonic-unicorn.”Kriff: A Kirin here.

Well we Might Get News at GDC Yesterday-The 21st?(Only Cause some Skyward Sword was There Once) or E3 when it happens in like 3 or so months… We Have Gotten a Game in English Every Year Since Platinum in 2009… Even X and Y Were Out 2013 when Black 2 White 2 did a Majoras Mask – Ocarina of Time Situation…

  13. I actually would like to see the Arabian Psychic Type
    I can see a short scrawny Pale dark skined Pokemon (kinda like Meditite) with its head swirling around the top like a turban and with a bright green jewel in its forehead and it uses it’s psychic powers to create a mystic veil that protects itself from hazardous environments
