What do you want from PokéJungle.net?

Here, at PokéJungle.net, I think it’s safe to say all of us are utterly tired with the lack of Pokémon news. There are slow trickles every so often, but nothing huge, or overly interesting. A few of the staff team having been working hard on Retry Level (which we’re actually rethinking, but you should check out!), but there’s actually very little going on.

I thought I’d take to time to ask our dedicated visitors and readers what they’d like to see from PokéJungle. We’ve shared some ideas for site additions before, and ever kickstarted some up, like our tournament – more on that in a second! But we’d like to hear what you’d like from the site; features, something completely new, or more of the same? Perhaps there’s something you’d like to see from a specific staff member? Let us know!

We can’t promise that we can implement every idea or begin work on them, but everything you guys forward to us gives us an idea of what we can do to make the site better, and your chosen Pokémon site.

The majority of you likely remember we announced, and opened sign-ups for our PokéJungle tournament last year. Since then we’ve been pretty hush on it. We’ve decided to hold off on hosting the tournament until summer, so that competitors have the most free time as possible, and over summer is the best chance for that. We’ll have more on our tournament later in the year!

So, yeah! What have you got to say? I’d also like to take this opportunity to ask you to try keep the comments for discussion of this topic, it really does help us knowing what you guys want from the site. If you’d like to discuss the fan game several of our readers are working on, our site chat or forums are an excellent place to do so. As always  Like us on Facebook and Follow us on Twitter.

  1. Anyone want more info on Pokemon Jasper, my new “PokeProject?”
In this game, there will be much more backstory on the gym leaders than before when they were just random people.

  3. With all this talk of Mega Evolution It got me thinking
the X/Y protagonist uses a Mega Ring on the Wrist
    Korrina uses a Mega Glove
Lysandre uses a Mega Finger Ring
and Diantha uses a Mega Necklace in the Game and Earrings in the Anime
What would your variation of a Mega Ring would u use?

  4. There are a traditional 8 gyms in the Arkor Region, where Pokemon Jasper takes place. You, a 15 year-old male or female character, are ready to challenge these gym leaders who have some sort of connection to you or an amazing concept, like LegeLution and Mega Evolution.

Beatrice- She is a Psychic-type Gym Leader. Beatrice is actually your in-game mother, and at the age of 5, the player witnessed her mother get kidnapped by Team Jasper, as she was linked to the Jasper Stone. She went missing for 10 years. 10 years later, in the time period Pokemon Jasper takes part in, Beatrice comes back and warns the player about Team Jasper. Over time, she beholded the power of Psychic-type Pokemon to escape Team Jasper, and was elected Psychic-type Gym Leader when she returned from her sudden disappearance. Beatrice introduces you to Jasper Formes, as she beholds one of her own. Musharna is known to be one of the Jasper Forme Pokemon, which your mother has on her team at the beginning of the game.

Trino- He is a Fire-type Gym Leader. Trino is a man who has worked with Professor Sycamore on finding more about Mega Evolution before he went to work for Team Flare. Trino reintroduces Mega Evolution, and has one of his own– Rapidash. Trino will make other appearances in the game and will always have more to tell you about Mega Evolution.

Orka- She is a Water-type Gym Leader. Orka works for Arkor Aquariums, as she takes care of the orcas, whales and aquatic life that is endangered and living at the aquarium. She got the nickname Orka from her actual name, Katherine, and her passion for orcas themselves. She occasionally puts on shows at the aquarium and for a small fee, you will be able to watch. She is your sister in the game, and is just a few years older than you are.

Charles- He is an Electric-type Gym Leader. Charles is the older brother of Clemont from Kalos, and was elected Electric-type Gym Leader of Arkor since Clemont had taken the Kalos spot. Charles can be seen ingame in Lysette City, the heart of Arkor, or the Central Light of Arkor. He works for the Lysette Electricity Company, and helps rig all of the beautiful lights around the city.

Monte- He is a Ground-type Gym Leader. Monte is one of your childhood friends. At the age of 8, you were separated from him in a devastating earthquake that left Monte in a coma for 7 years. Now, 7 years later, he is back and stronger than ever, ready to take you on with Ground-type Pokemon he “met and befriended” in his dreams.

    TBD- Grass-type Gym Leader.

Archie- He is a Dark-type Gym Leader. Ex-Team Aqua boss is back and is ready to start his new life in Arkor. After over 12 years in prison, Archie is back and ready to start a new life. He becomes the Dark-type Gym Leader of Arkor as a chance to prove his worthiness that he has changed. Archie introduces a new method of evolution, LegeLution, which is where a Pokemon undergoes a major transformation turning it into a Legendary Pokemon. Mightyena is one of those Pokemon, that has become Freeolf, the Ice/Dragon Legendary Pokemon of Arkor. This discovery of his has made him one of the richest, most successful people in Arkor.

Toruu- She is a Fairy-type Gym Leader. She is the one you thank for saving your life. At a young age, Team Jasper had broken into your home with the Jasper Stone, attempting to kill everyone in the universe and take their souls into the stone. Just as Team Jasper was ready to kill the player, Toruu, a next door neighbor, jumped in and took the pain. She was blinded and her potential allowed her to live. She was in the hospital for 9 years, and came back this year (2017) to challenge trainers with as much potential as she.
