Here, at PokéJungle.net, I think it’s safe to say all of us are utterly tired with the lack of Pokémon news. There are slow trickles every so often, but nothing huge, or overly interesting. A few of the staff team having been working hard on Retry Level (which we’re actually rethinking, but you should check out!), but there’s actually very little going on.
I thought I’d take to time to ask our dedicated visitors and readers what they’d like to see from PokéJungle. We’ve shared some ideas for site additions before, and ever kickstarted some up, like our tournament – more on that in a second! But we’d like to hear what you’d like from the site; features, something completely new, or more of the same? Perhaps there’s something you’d like to see from a specific staff member? Let us know!
We can’t promise that we can implement every idea or begin work on them, but everything you guys forward to us gives us an idea of what we can do to make the site better, and your chosen Pokémon site.
The majority of you likely remember we announced, and opened sign-ups for our PokéJungle tournament last year. Since then we’ve been pretty hush on it. We’ve decided to hold off on hosting the tournament until summer, so that competitors have the most free time as possible, and over summer is the best chance for that. We’ll have more on our tournament later in the year!
So, yeah! What have you got to say? I’d also like to take this opportunity to ask you to try keep the comments for discussion of this topic, it really does help us knowing what you guys want from the site. Sure that’s nice, but don’t you ever wish you could use them offensively in competitive battles…besides Baton Passing stat increases to them?
I’ve used Sableye the most, and not really. The only offensive move I have on it is Knock Off, which comes in really handy this gen. I love the ability to stop Pokemon from setting up and burn physical attackers. It helps my team immensely.
well they are the baton pass givers, they aren’t the receivers. They’re not to be used offensively. If someone wants an offensive cute bug they should look to Leavanny or something.
Which is why I want to use her (I think of her as mostly female) in my next team!

So you use it as a status slave!!! You see? It does suck! Sure, Pranksters are an overused pain, but are they ever used to attack? No.

Not every Pokemon is used to attack. They all have their own way your supposed to use and benefit them from. Ledian has like a 10 base power attack probably why would anyone use it to attack? lol. Ledian even has iron fist, but when you look at its sp def you realize its supposed to be a wall bug.
Prankster Confuse Ray/ Thunder Wave messes up a lot OF people, sometimes even feinting them. Giving you the chance to set up with tail glow/baton pass
And Illumise got a unique buff this gen. Due to new breeding mechanics it can now learn Growth/Baton Pass with Prankster… come in on a sunny day, use growth, and baton pass +2 sp atk and +2 atk to a chlorophyll sweeper and wreck.

Yup. And the accuracy of Hurricane gets boosted due to compound eyes, similar to Galvantula/Thunder/Compoundeyes.

Best butterfly as well. Access to Quiver Dance / Sleep Powder / Stun Spore / Hurricane/ Energy Ball / PFFTTT.. its so great. Fairy would’ve broken it lol.
Plus an ability that decreases the damage delt from Fire Type Attacks (or something like that)? DDAAAAAAAYYYYMMMM!!!!!!
well it does get the pretty cool “Powder” attack with gets priority over any fire attack and counters/busts right in their face lol.
