Pokémon Battle Trozei Launch Coverage: Day 1

I’m going to be running through Pokémon Battle Trozei and list what I’ve found here! Refresh to update 🙂 Update: I’m going to bed now 🙁 I want to sleep before 1am!

Discoveries (NEWEST to OLDEST):

  • Some Pokémon, such as Mismagius, inject copies of themselves on your board.
  • Some Pokémon, such as Chansey, heal your HP instead of attacking when you match them
  • After beating Zone 3, Zone 11 (Safari Jungle) is unlocked with 13 possible Pokémon to catch, changes daily. Up to 3 stages.
  • You can only damage 1 Pokémon at a time. If there are more than 1 you’re facing, a 30-combo may do HUGE amount of damage, but you won’t be able to knock out multiple ‘mons at once.
  • After beating 3-1 you can choose support Pokémon from any that you’ve defeated
  • Love the music when your HP gets low, quite frantic!
  • Second zone has 4 stages
  • Starting in 2 – 4 the boss can come down into your Trozei grid
  • You can face multiple Pokémon at once
  • Letter rank is given for performance
  • First ‘Zone’ has 4 stages
  • No 3D
  • Tutorial pits you against Pikachu

  1. Some move ideas:

    Lightning Pulse
    Electric
    90 power
    Special
“The user blasts the opponent with streams of lightning. May cause paralysis.”

    Lightning Strike
    Electric
    120 power
    Special
“The user casts a severe storm above the opponent, trapping them in a vortex of lightning bolts. May cause paralysis.”
(Keep in mind this was originally the English translation of Thunder.)

    Downpour
    Water
    80 power
    Special
“The user casts a downpour of water over all opponents. Better power in the rain, but weaker in the sun.”

    Dark Night
    Fairy
    ——
    Status
“The user makes the battlefield dark, raising the power of Dark, Ghost, and Fairy type moves. Lowers the power of Electric, Bug, and Poison type moves. Lasts for 5 turns.”

These are some that I had, I have more though. I’ll post them later.

    • Light Nebula – Fairy
      120 Power
      100 Accuracy
Two turns attack. (Like a Solar Beam)

      Soul Blast – Psychic
      140 Power
      90 Accuracy
The user gathers the energy of his/her soul and deal massive damage. It also damage the user quite a bit.

Shower of Stars – Fairy and Dragon simultaneously
      100
      100
      Damage everything on the field.

    • Dark Night should be Dark type.
I love the idea of Downpour, but what’s the use of the first two unless they’re Physical? It’s the same as Thunderbolt and Thunder.

I had an idea that, sometime during your 2nd visit to Meteoris City (which could also have the PokePub located in it), acid rain will start to pour down & you’ll have to take shelter or something and wait out the rain…
Just an idea, it could easily be expanded on..
