Pokémon Battle Trozei Launch Coverage: Day 1

I’m going to be running through Pokémon Battle Trozei and list what I’ve found here! Refresh to update 🙂 Update: I’m going to bed now 🙁 I want to sleep before 1am!

Discoveries (NEWEST to OLDEST):

  • Some Pokémon, such as Mismagius, inject copies of themselves on your board.
  • Some Pokémon, such as Chansey, heal your HP instead of attacking when you match them
  • After beating Zone 3, Zone 11 (Safari Jungle) is unlocked with 13 possible Pokémon to catch, changes daily. Up to 3 stages.
  • You can only damage 1 Pokémon at a time. If there are more than 1 you’re facing, a 30-combo may do HUGE amount of damage, but you won’t be able to knock out multiple ‘mons at once.
  • After beating 3-1 you can choose support Pokémon from any that you’ve defeated
  • Love the music when your HP gets low, quite frantic!
  • Second zone has 4 stages
  • Starting in 2 – 4 the boss can come down into your Trozei grid
  • You can face multiple Pokémon at once
  • Letter rank is given for performance
  • First ‘Zone’ has 4 stages
  • No 3D
  • Tutorial pits you against Pikachu

  1. So disappointing out of all the regions unova had the most potential for mega pokemon (Imo) but they got 0 its like helping those people who hated unova

  2. This kid in my class was talking to me about Pokemon. He said that Pikachu and Chimchar should get mega evolutions and said his favorite pokemon name from gen 6 is Meowstick. I am so done.

    Vivillon is the BEST name in gen 6 to Pronounce because it is so french. (Vee Vee Yawn) and Only fully evolved Pokemon get megas.

    • Vivillon is also the best name because of how it is derived from multiple languages. I need to look that up though, I forgot how it went.

      • and he said something about them adding an event where all the legendaries battle and you have to defeat them or catch them. I was like NO. STOP. xD Everyone and their mothers would have legendaries. It’s bad enough as it is.

    • Got it, courtesy of Bulbapedia:
      Vivillon may be a combination of vivid and papillon (French for butterfly). It may also derive from viví en (Spanish for “I lived in”), referring to its geographic variation.
      Viviyon may be a combination of 美 bi (beauty), vivid, and papillon.

    • You know, Vivillion comes from the word Papillon (butterfly in French). It’s also a book about a prisoner who escapes from prison and lives out his adventures on the run. He went by the name, Papillon and had a butterfly tattoo. It’s a really good book and highly recommend reading it.

    • There are some people in my Engineering class who are seemingly interested in Pokemon. While I’m searching the internet, I say “Think of a random Pokemon. Stantler”. But they didn’t know what Stantler was.

      • It’s not like the kid just recently picked up pokemon, he’s had previous entries and didn’t even know the type weaknesses and advantages. I asked if he wanted a spare 5 IV pokemon after i explained how important IVs and natures are. He didn’t want it. He also wanted to finish the battle chateu and then start a new game >.> I don’t understand.

  7. Good moveset for M Manectric? I was thinking of having V-Switch, T-Bolt, Flamethrower and HP Ice but I don’t know anything about HP Ice. Suggestions?

    • I’ll let you use my sprites if you need them. I’m almost done with Fletchling. Just need Jordin’s assistance with the shading cause he made sproot look really cool in a matter of like 2-3 minutes.

    Infurno (cuz fur) -> Chyflara (cuz chimera) -> Mantlecore (cuz manticore)

  21. Favorite Female Rival in the Anime. I know there’s not too much, but there are a few who appeared a few times in each series.

    Mine is Georgia (another one of the few good things about BW).
