Pokémon Battle Trozei Launch Coverage: Day 1

I’m going to be running through Pokémon Battle Trozei and list what I’ve found here! Refresh to update 🙂 Update: I’m going to bed now 🙁 I want to sleep before 1am!

Discoveries (NEWEST to OLDEST):

  • Some Pokémon, such as Mismagius, inject copies of themselves on your board.
  • Some Pokémon, such as Chansey, heal your HP instead of attacking when you match them
  • After beating Zone 3, Zone 11 (Safari Jungle) is unlocked with 13 possible Pokémon to catch, changes daily. Up to 3 stages.
  • You can only damage 1 Pokémon at a time. If there are more than 1 you’re facing, a 30-combo may do HUGE amount of damage, but you won’t be able to knock out multiple ‘mons at once.
  • After beating 3-1 you can choose support Pokémon from any that you’ve defeated
  • Love the music when your HP gets low, quite frantic!
  • Second zone has 4 stages
  • Starting in 2 – 4 the boss can come down into your Trozei grid
  • You can face multiple Pokémon at once
  • Letter rank is given for performance
  • First ‘Zone’ has 4 stages
  • No 3D
  • Tutorial pits you against Pikachu

    • Sory about not responding to your previous post Igneous, i haven’t been on PJ for a bit. THough, it does look like it’s just you and me.

        • I don’t think he’s teasing us this time. I mean, the rest of the pokemon could be for a third game, or for DLc. i mean, release the third game, then release DLC to make X and Y compatible with the newer game

          • It isn’t impossible to have 758 species next game, but as for now, it’s only definitely just a number on the (spoof) trainer card that will be autographed by The Man himself.

    • Well I knew it was about Nagoya, but I was wrong about it being about the Pokepark there. So it all makes sense now. 3/23 being the anniversary of the Pokemon Center. (Rather than a tease for a new Ranger game, as I thought.)

But, while less likely now, it still is possible that they intentionally have 758 species in the next game/gen just to coincide with this.

  1. I was kidding about before. I’m going back to Mario Kart 8. *sigh* This indecisiveness is only solidifying the fact that I am going COMPLETELY INSANE XD No more changes, I promise. Smash Bros. U pre-order will wait until release date is set, and Kirby Triple Deluxe just isn’t important.

I should leave before I ramble on by myself any longer. I have to rehearse for my science debate tomorrow. Maybe I’ll finally be able to play some Tropical Freeze tomorrow 😀

  2. Darkrai event announced! Looks like it’s only in japan for now so I really hope it comes to everyone because I missed out on the last darkrai and I’ll be really pissed if they keep this one only to Japan.

  3. I just had a theory on Pokemon Z (too early?).. Xerneas and Yveltal are both immune to Zygarde’s main types (just realized this a few minutes ago haha) what if, in Pokemon Z when and if Zygarde mega evolves, it gains an ability which turns immunities into weaknesses much like how inverse battles work. I guess this is also backed up by the fact that the only place to have inverse battles is in Route 18 where Terminus cave is located also where Zygarde is found..

    • I thought of an ability I made up for my Gen VII Snake Legendary. It was Inverse, which turns battles into Inverse Battles. Mega Zygarde X/Y could get this ability!

      Great theory!

Oh, and it’s never too early to talk about the next games.

          • Well, I mean, everything says Zygarde’s gonna get AT LEAST another form. Yet, people keep saying it’s at a lot of a disadvantage to Xerneas/Yveltal, which it mostly is, except for its abilities, which totally negates and reverses Xerneas’s/Yveltal’s ability.

          • That really has nothing to do with CoolGlaceon’s theory. 😛 Yvetal & Xerneas defend nicely against Zygarde. I doubt he would be Mega Evolving but he might get a form or something. Maybe, Yvetal & Xerneas could get improvements too.

          • No, I believe this, but if it does get one then even though its typing will remain the same, it and its ability will be somewhat OP against Xerneas and Yveltal. But that’s true as well. Xerneas and Yveltal could also get a form/mega.

  4. Morning everyone!
    Well see ya.
I’ve got a 7:30am class to go to.
But it’s ok. I’m wide awake!

      • The point is, no one likes movie ticket Pokemon distribution events.
…Seeing we still don’t have the Extreme Speed Genesect in English or other languages. Japan still has everything ahead of us. :/

    • I might… I really want to, to get a good competitive shiny Pokémon, but I don’t have the Shiny Charm. I might just research good UU competitive Pokémon and breed them cause I can.

    • After I’m done setting up 5IV or 6IV parents or egg moves, I gather 5 eggs and hatch them immediately. Repeat the process until I get the shiny. I don’t count the number of eggs.
