Oh yeah…. But I was picturing a giant sea turtle with an island on its back (like Avatar) and a giant transformer-esque guy half underground with a dark aura (Ground/Dark and Water/Psychic would work well.)

Same thing happened to me in my first wonder lock, I lost all but my zorua and had to completely rebuild my team
He was really easy for me but I had all 36’s or so and wasn’t doing a wonder/nuzlocke.
yeah in wonderlocke because of the way trading worked, any pokemon over lv 30 wouldn’t listen to me

I would say, Catching them all. Being able to use any time of pokemon competitively. Knowing the weakness and strength chart by heart. Knowing LOADS of Trivia.
I got most of that. But i refuse to use Dewgong or Ledian competitively.

Seeing as the question of being a pokemon master makes it sound like all you have to do to be a master is say you are, in actuality if you look closer you see in the follow up question you are asked if you have the skills to be number one.
This implies that being number one and a pokemon master are synonymous, meaning that only one person can be a pokemon master, however we will have to dwelve even deeper to understand the conditions in order to be “number one”
The catch phrase of the franchise is “gotta catch them all” maybe this will help us to understanding what it means to be a pokemon master.
If all we listen to is the catch phrase than being the pokemon master means catching “them all” but does that mean literally every pokemon in existence because then their would never be a pokemon master.
Now the real question is being the pokemon master the same as being the champion, for to be the champion you have to beat the elite four, and that makes you the best player INSIDE of the game, so therefore in the pokemon universe of your game cartridge power wise, you are the best at pokemon so therefore theoretically the pokemon master, but outside of the game and online, its much harder to be the best, and its impossible to determine who is the best.
Best breeder, best team builder, best battler, they’re to many variables.
So in conclusion, everyone is a pokemon master, but really no one is

My Wall of a Cofagrigus is running Will o Wisp, Toxic Spikes, Protect and Safeguard. Should i drop Safeguard for an attack so that i don’t have to keep spamming Protect? xD
