Clues to why there will be free DLC for a new region & a bit more Pokemon…
– The Backpacker that Migrate’s to 4 different Hotels:
1: Cyllage: Talks bout how he likes Kalos but likes his region more
2: Ambrette: Talks bout a facility.
3: Camphrier: Talks bout his champion (and how he’s stronger than the Kalos one)
4: Couriway: He says his area isnt: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh or Unova. And gives you an item named “Strange Souvenir” which says it depicts a pokemon who is the protector of that region. The depiction is a new Pokemon.
– Using Your Current Protagonist in the Next Game STILL!
1)The backpacker says soon YOU will visit it. (Yes, you, theingame character.)
2)He later says how his region’s champion is so strong, which would actually fit with the fact that Kalos league does not have a rematch, which does not make sense at all, even when the Kalos league is a bit ahead of levels than the normal leagues (which makes sense considering you have the entire team exp.share now) it still doesn’t match other league’s rematch level and considering each league guy has 4 Pokémon’s makes it even easier, so it would make sense to have the upgraded league be actually a second league.
3) After you beat the Elite 4, Shauna gives you the starter you’re missing and tells you she can’t wait to MAKE MEMORIES in a new region. There is also a memory checker in Anistar, a female NPC that tells you you’re Pokemon’s memories. I’m sure she will get updated messages to tell you about your Pokemon from the neighboring region.
– The Backwards Waterfall & Couriway Town Mysteries
1) there’s a lady in Couriway that says that she heard that somewhere in the world (this world not distortion world) there’s a waterfall that flows upside down. In Anistar, there’s an NPC that says moondials also exist somewhere. Well if Kalos has sundial, its safe to say the neighboring region has Moondials and probably have something to do with the gravity effecting the backwards waterfall.
2) another NPC in Couriway tells you how she’s heard stories of Magikarp being able to leap waterfalls, well of course they can leap waterfalls… the water is moving backwards they can swim up it haha! Clever GF. Ever notice how Kalos is beautiful and has Luvdisc, Magikarp are rare here. They could possibly be more common in this other region.
3) Couriway Town’s main town description in the center of town says its a “town connecting differences” which means the train here brings people from a neighboring region over into Kalos.
Other Tidbits I gathered:
1) East Shellos is missing from the game. You can find West Shellos (the blue one) in Friend Safari.
2) Backpackers in Unova whore blue/white/red – colors of the french flag hinting at Kalos region. Backpackers in Kalos wear black/red/yellow – hinting at a German inspired region, and what do you know, Germany neighbors France.
3) Zygarde’s 600 base stat, calling for a Mega Zygarde with 700 base stat distribution tying it with Mega Tyranitar/Garchomp. The form hasn’t been found in the game which means its not coded yet, and a new update will fix that.
4) Putting Diancie on your current XY game unlocks an event, whereas putting Volcanion & Hoopa on your game unlocks nothing, which means they will be released as future events in new locations that we can’t access yet. Volcanion in Power Plant, and Hoopa in Chamber of Emptiness.
Free DLC?
Masuda said months before releasing XY that they wouldn’t ever make customers pay for DLC… he said “pay”.. well thats cause we’ll be paying for Bank.
They’ll make money from Pokemon Bank. Because you’ll need 5 dollars-annually to access it. So when the new update comes like download your Pokemon X and Y Version 2 from eshop now!! it will probably say something like
“before installing the update, please deposit any Pokemon you currently have into your Bank storage or they will be lost after the update”…
You do the update, start off in the new region. Beat the new elite 4 or get new pokedex, and then they allow you to access Bank storage again to get your old pokes. Free DLC but still making money through Bank.
XY Cartridge is 1.4 GB big… it can store up to 8G.. A few more regions & content

1.) volcanion and hoopa didnt activate yet so we dont know about events
2.) Zygardes dex entry says when nature goes haywire it reveals its HIDDEN ability cough new form
3.) isnt west shellos the pink one?
I talked with one of the guys from Datel, They already made the cheats to volcanion & hoopa but won’t release them because their IV’s are messed up – he said he can’t fixed the checksum yet. He said when he first hacked Diancie on to his game without using a wondercard that it still unlocked event because fateful encounter triggers it
he said when he put fateful encounter volcanion & hoopa on his game, nothing triggers. Thats because we’re not going to get the from Pokecenter. We’re going to catch them IN GAME! He needs Plant Key item to trigger REAL volcanion, and something to trigger Hoopa in Chamber of Emptiness.

Yep. He said he took fateful encounter volcanion & hoopa EVERYWHERE and it still did nothing, whereas all u do is enter a pokecenter with fateful encounter diancie and the event for it begins. I really can’t wait to get inside of those doors in Power Plant.

*SPOILER WARNING*
Two people come into the Pokemon Center asking if they can have your Diancie for their master. Then the Master comes in and tells you to keep it and talks a book to your face.
One small thing: 3DS cartridges don’t store extra data. DLC always gets stored on the SD card. The fact that most 3DS cartidges can store up to 8GB (technically 16 is possible) just means that 8GB is the biggest cartridge they make. Due to cost reasons they are made smaller though, with XY being 2GB.
Fun fact actually there is 9 tine zones in russia not 8 XD

No matter what, I think something’ll happen in A MOVIE (don’t know when) but Volcanion will like stop ?powering? Lumiose City, everything’ll power down, some other Pkmn will attack and they have to team up and defend the city/etc. Kinda like the movie with Rayquaza/Deoxys.

I’ll stick to strong jaw more as well, but it’ll be nice to not take recoil from head smash. I never even bothered training mine – I’m curious to how it does in competitive play.
I think that with a fully invested attack and speed with a DD can sweep tbh. But people misuse it as a stealth rocks setup.
The same way Smogon tries to misuse Altaria and make a Pokemon with low base offenses into an offensive Pokemon smh
