Lucario was announced today as a returning character in Super Smash Bros: Wii U / 3DS. This is a great surprise with the recent release of Pokémon X and Y. I personally thought Lucario would have been up for removal for a generation six Pokemon (not to say that they won’t add another one, though), but its great to see it return to the series!
In the previous installment, Lucario’s “aura” grew stronger as his damage meter grew higher. Sakurai explains that this feature will be enhanced in the next installment of Smash Bros, which makes Lucario’s strength “a force to be reckoned with”. It will be interesting to learn how his aura effects the battle field and, as a Lucario user, how his play style will change.
Earlier today I had the pleasure to have an in-person discussion regarding this announcement with some of the Pokéjungle staff today and we were throwing some ideas around about Lucario’s addition to the Smash roster. Our speculation is that his final smash this time around will be his mega evolution instead of “Aura Blast”. He could be faster, stronger, and much more difficult to K.O which in his Mega Lucario state. I think they should even give it an expanded move-set in addition to a strength buff. Perhaps a longer range aura or added bounce effect to his moves. Also this will no doubt bring up speculation about Mewtwo and whether or not this news means he will not return as Lucario replaced him in the previous game and may do so for this one.
We’ll have to see what Sakurai has in store for us next with his rather elusive updates to Smash! I’m hoping for the return of another new Pokémon character (Pokemon Trainer with three new starters. . .?! A guy can dream, right?).
What do you hope for in the next Smash update? A new Pokémon Character? Some Metroid or Starfox love, perhaps? We’d love to here what you think!

That or he’s leaving…
I don;t think they’d release a starter on the 15th episode
but i also dont think they would evolve a starter on the 15th episode
I guess we have to weight and find out!
I see what you did there…
😀 😀
Could someone clone me a Bank Legend? It would really help trying to chain trade legends on the GTS! 😀 much appreciate it!
I have Musharna! 😀
Thank you! 😀
You’re welcome! 🙂 I’m missing a lot of legendary Pokemon so is there any chance you could trade me them before trading them off again?
BTW, TC has a Terrakion you could use for the dex 😀
Of course! 🙂 Hopefully someone could give me a cloned legend so I start doing that and awesome! Is he on here?
I’ll need it back 🙂
Of course! 😀 Thank you!
No problem! 🙂
Event legends like Genosect won’t work so don’t try it with those :/
Look at all of the non-event legendary Pokemon on the GTS and see if you can get one of them. Thank you!!! 🙂
Yeah I tried for those :/ they have ribbons so you can’t trade them.
Alright! I tried for Entei and Zekrom but no luck 🙁
Awesome now i have a love ball mawile and moon ball cleffa 😀
let me know when ya get female cleffa babies… cause I’ll def trade for one.
ok 🙂
thanks! and it doesn’t have to have high iv’s or anything… will return later.. stepping out with a friend for a bit then when I come back gonna hatch my swirlix eggs!! Hope I got the shiny adamant swirlix I’ve been trying to get. It’s the last Poke I need for my fairy team.
I had a shiny swirlix but I gave it to frosslassforever cause it didn’t have belly drum
good luck getting it…wait..you have enough of that wish shinies…well, the thought is still there.
by anyone chance do you have 2 of any shiny starter 0___0
including kalos
lucky bastard haha
My bad, mis clicked
sure just waiting for the person to register my friend code to trade 🙂 Just saying it wouldnt have HIGH ivs maybe 3-4
in that case, could i possibly get one too? and maybe that whimsicott? haha sorry, i’ve been obsessing over that for a while now…
Love Ball Mawile!? Could you maybe breed one for me?
didnt you already post this XD
I accidentally posted a reply to someone else.
dont worry i still aw and yes
Thanks!
Mawile is careful 4iv Ha love ball, female and was 4 fang moves :O
holy crap
Epic!
Making a Pokémon youtube intro for my channel , what should i put in it?
goomy
Possibility…
i was possibily kididng 😀 Id truely say cool cutscenes from your favoritie games
Some anime cutscenes too…
I’m going to make an intro for Mario and Ace Attorney videos too!
Shiny Metagross in some way
from anime?
from anywhere haha
Maybe…
WAIT YOU CANT GET POKEBALL WHEN BREEDING WITH DITTO?
You can, the other Pokemon has to be female.
2 more boxes!!!
Does anyone have a Paras? I’m trying to get one off of the GTS but people are asking for legendaries :/
what id say to do, breed any starters and depoist it for paras
I can’t breed now :/ I’m stuck Masuda Methoding D:
masuda isnt chaining. switching the pokemon doesnt affect the chances
it seems like everyone is asking for legendaries for everything…even the pidgey line…it’s just wrong.
The fair trades go out fast, that’s why.
This is so true!!
well ratata has an excuse of being unobtainable
do what?
well like you said the pidgey line is getting aksed for legends. Ratatta, on eof the owrst pokemon getting asked of rlegends makes sense since ratttata is unobtainable XD
yeah that’ll do it haha. i haven’t looked for that line just yet so i wouldn’t know. i did get a giratina over wonder trade and i wouldn’t mind trading that away since i have others but…it isn’t EV trained..level 47..and 5 perfect IV’s..that’s hard to part with.
I got some in my friend safaris, gonna catch a couple.
Since we don’t have each other added, could you deposit it on the GTS asking for a Shroomish? XD
Ok then. Hopefully no one else grabs it. Gimme a minute.
I doubt it XD Thanks!
Ok it should be up there now.
IGN: Celeste
Got it! Thank you! 😀
No prob!
oh to be a fly on the wall haha
it cool when u put headphones on u here little bits in songs u never heard
Why can’t bank be released already! D:< I would have already completed my Nat Dex ;_;
same here. and with it now cutting into the 30 trial (ending on the 27th as far as i know) yeah….should have been put out..
It should come out soon! Japan has their’s so its a matter of time until it comes out for us. I want my W2 pokes 🙁
don’t worry. We all feel your pain. At this point, it’s just ridiculous..i get that the servers needed an upgrade but…they’re upgraded now so..
Maybe they’ll make it up to 1 month after you download it.
which would be a lot better.
GOOMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, I’m back I can trade with Jordinite and Slippery!
@slipperysceptile:disqus, @Disqus_H_i_T_h_e_r_e:disqus, you guys on?

Pangoro hat? then i think i do
Yup 😀
awesome. do you have tynamo? if not, i can trade you that for it. also, any shiny cottonee or whimsicott? just thought i’d ask
I just evolved a Tynamo and don’t have a shiny Cottonee or Whimsicott :/ Trade and trade back right?
well i have tynamo. just thought i’d offer that. and trade the paras back? if you’d like. my connection is a little spotty so it may drop and i’d just need a little time to get back on
Yeah, I need to evolve it and trade it to other people xD
alright, that’s fine
Sorry if you wanted to keep it :/
it’s alright. i reallly just need the data anyway. paras was never really a favorite of mine haah
Want Parasect’s data too?
when you get it, yes. that would be great.
Just evolved XD Ready to trade?
just need to finish this WT haha but yeah i’m ready
I’m just now realizing i have a safari with paras in it…
Yep! I’m getting Cradily and Glalie if you still need them.
Yes I do 😀
Literally just woke up a few minutes ago and it’s around 1pm eastern time. Can’t remember the last time I felt so good waking up.
