Nintendo reported their third straight loss to investors, and it seems as though they may be willing to seek new ways to make profit.
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s president, said he would continue to run the company and added, “We are thinking about a new business structure. Given the expansion of smart devices, we are naturally studying how smart devices can be used to grow the game-player business. It’s not as simple as enabling Mario to move on a smartphone.”
As iOS and Android devices have gained market traction and improved hardware, they’ve been seen as direct competitors to Nintendo’s handheld consoles. Mobile gaming applications often cost only a couple of dollars, much less than traditional handheld games.
The Pokémon Company has released some apps for mobile devices, including their 3D Pokédex and a Japan-exclusive simple rhythm game which tied into the trading card game, but they have never released other games.
We’ll have to watch Nintendo’s strategies closely. Would you like to see Mario, Zelda or Pokémon on your phone or tablet?

I lost some turtwig progress. My game turned off. WHY CANT YOU RELEASE EGGS!?!?! I’m getting sick of this and I have other things I want to do. . . .But I really want the turtwig. 🙁

I’m just mad. Heavy has never gone over 100 and some people I talked to got theres in 100-200 eggs. I’m past that now.
I’m up to 10+ boxes, it definitely takes a while. But don’t give up entirely, you’ll get a shiny Turtwig eventually! 😀
Eventually you will get it. I have gone over 400 Venipede eggs or something. My total count is 2200. Just have patience, and the game will admit its defeat. 🙂

You can get rid of eggs by using them as sacrificial tokens for cloning.

Day 2
Still no shiny Venipede… My egg count 2200+ right now… I guess I might have hatched over 300+ Venipede eggs.
Seeing how easily I got shiny Gastly and Aron, this is an actual challenge. Well, if this is a patience test, game, I won’t lose to you.
How do you do it?? What is your method of hatching??
Well, on school days, I take my 3DS with me, have it turn on for the rest of the day so that I have the steps count of 2000, which makes the Hatch Power 3 recharges twice as fast. Then I hatch 5 eggs at a time, and release them immediately if not shiny.
And niether will I!! I’m not giving up!! After this turtwig, it’ll be a sign of my true stregth and endurance!! Bring it on game!! I’m not giving up anymore!! >:)
