Nintendo reported their third straight loss to investors, and it seems as though they may be willing to seek new ways to make profit.
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s president, said he would continue to run the company and added, “We are thinking about a new business structure. Given the expansion of smart devices, we are naturally studying how smart devices can be used to grow the game-player business. It’s not as simple as enabling Mario to move on a smartphone.”
As iOS and Android devices have gained market traction and improved hardware, they’ve been seen as direct competitors to Nintendo’s handheld consoles. Mobile gaming applications often cost only a couple of dollars, much less than traditional handheld games.
The Pokémon Company has released some apps for mobile devices, including their 3D Pokédex and a Japan-exclusive simple rhythm game which tied into the trading card game, but they have never released other games.
We’ll have to watch Nintendo’s strategies closely. Would you like to see Mario, Zelda or Pokémon on your phone or tablet?

/yesss
Holy crap I forgot about that horrifying outfit.
*uber shudders*
You mean best rival? That’s difficult. I say Zoey because she never made me feel annoyed.
drew annoyed you?
oh. i get i guess lol
With his smug attitude.
yup lol, but he was nice sometimes.
Yeah, he was. He’s actually quite sweet to her now that I think about it. I still say Zoey’s the best of your two options because she was more of a coach to Dawn than a rival.
So far, we’ve yet to get a truely evil pokémon. Could Yveltal be the first in M17?
i expect yveltal to be all misunderstood, and soo xerneas gives all of its life to yveltal because xerneas realizes that yveltal needs the life to survive. so it wont rampage again.
Knowing the anime, I expect that to happen. I mean, look what happened to Darkrai and Kyurem. They were misunderstood.
except i want this to be better than the kyurem movie
xd
I liked the Keldeo movie!
I expect Yveltal to rid the world of Ash.
But Ash is awesome in XY!
For now
Forever hopefully.
anyone alive?
*Checks Pulse* I don’t think so. Most activity is on the chat!
Yeah Chat is unfamiliar Territory for this Warrior
Yes, but I lost some of my limbs on the other side.
hmm sad, well we’ll fetch a chair or a stretcher Solider
Thanks, and I’ll get my mechanic to attach some artificial metal limbs too.
I’ll fetch some Steel Types knowing Automize
and some Fire Types to smelt it
Thank you kind sir!
Episode 3 of Space Dandy!!!!!!
I GOT A SHINY……… PENNY
My Nickle iz shinier
WTF OMFG WHAT IS HAPPING IN SPACE DANDY
Does anyone here know if they have a normal friend safari with Ditto?
Not that I know of…
Oh I know that you have an ice friend safari 🙂
This is really sad that Nintendo has to go through such lengths to get money. Don’t get me wrong I love Nintendo since I was a kid and I still do, but this just proves that they can’t keep up with the main stream technology that Xbox or PSP has. Also why should people spend money on an app that allows you to play it on your phone or console. I know people that just download an emulator on their computer or phone and play Pokemon right on their devices. In the end, I just hope that they figure out how to make money or have someone else buy their rights for their games.
I lost count of how many Venipede eggs I’ve hatched… Still no shiny.
But at least I got two 6IV Jolly Speed Boost Venipede from this cession.
Would you happen to be trading your extra speed boost venipede?
AHHHHHH I JUST ENCOUNTERED MY FIRST FRIEND SAFARI SHINY AND IT WAS THE FIRST ONE I ENCOUNTERED IN THE SAFARIIIII!!!!!! IT’S AN AIPOM
CAUGHT IT!!! 😀
Congratulations!
Lemme guess. TC’s Safari right?
MewMew are you here?
No one’s here….
Goodnight everyone have a wonderful night! See you all tomorrow!
Anybody else pickup on Greninja’s design change?
I don’t see MUCH of a difference but…….. it is different
That’s not a change, that’s just an entirely different angle.
Especially since that first screenshot came from an actual retail game.
Guess you’re right, but they do indeed look different.
They are indeed different. Notice the bottom once has two white triangles on its forehead, by its eyes, and the top one doesn’t
Nope, there both different! The top one is missing the two white triangles on the forehead
The right one is hidden behind the eye, and the left one gets hidden behind the blue mohawk.
But both are from the released game.
they are INDEED different. Notice the bottom Greninja has white traingles over the top of its eyes, and the top Greninja doesn’t have white triangles over its eyes.
Um.. The top one is a fake..
