The Pokémon Plus & Pokémon Minus Rumors

Although I’m covering this news story, it’s by popular demand. I don’t believe any of this and I highly recommend that you do not either.

The site DualPixels (which has since crashed) claimed to have gotten “information” from a leaker about Generation VII. They claim:

  • Two new games are codenamed Pokémon Plus & Pokémon Minus, could be final
  • The battle system is going to be re-worked completely and simplified
  • New region is based on Southeast Asia, may have islands
  • GameFreak is trying many new ideas out that they’ve been holding onto
  • “Three new starters with no names: Water evolves into Water/Steel and is a squat, teardrop shaped humanoid that has a jar filled with on its head as it evolves it grows taller and the jar bigger until it needs another set of arms to hold it on it’s head. Fire evolves into Fire/Fairy and is a tiny cute goat with fire blowing out of its horns, it’s horns and look evolves more menacing until it has curly ram like horns and a motorcycle hot-rod-like look. Grass evolves into a Grass/Electric and starts with a leap for a face with a nubby root as a body and evolves until it grows into an electric producing palm tree with each flower petal having a different face.”
  • “The main legendary for Pokemon Plus is a Shi Foo Lion-looking Psychic/Ground-type that has multiple faces, the Pokemon Minus legendary is a Ghost/Fairy type that has two dashes for eyes and is a hurricane-like appendages with many arms and hands.”
  • “The new “Team” villains are described as a bunch of “Sohei Zelots”-types who have discovered the player’s best friend as a reincarnation of a special type of person who only is alive every 100 years. They believe the old system where people were given a Pokemon egg and they stick to that Pokemon until they die and who’s function in society dictate what role that person is. They are against the “modern” trend of Pokemon Trainers and capturing multiple Pokemon and are making a holy pilgrimage to evoke the old Legendaries to turn everything back to normal. They keep the player away from their friend, saying the special one (who can do amazing things like mega evolve Pokemon without the use of a mega ring) only love is that of Pokemon and not people. It is planned to be reveal later that for the special one to fulfill their role in society they must be mortally sacrificed to awaken the legendaries.”

  4. My army of shinies grows weak the longer I must wait for the Bank! I sacrificed two of them for what? Two Bank Legendaries in return? I’m down to three shinies. Nearly half of my soldiers are gone. But what’s to gain? The satisfaction of my own greed? The legendaries I got I could have received myself if I just had the Bank, but no, I had to rely on Japanese Passerbys/Acquaintances! Nintendo, what are you doing to us! Enough is enough!

    As of this moment, my Shinies are Off Limits! I cannot afford to lose anymore (unless it’s a “Shiny for Shiny” trade). Bank. Please..be released already! Stop receiving assistance from Valve!!!!

      I just traded my last two bank legends away for a shiny donphan and shiny rufflet. I could’ve got a shiny nincada lvl 1 for my shiny genesect but Opted to cancel the trade and keep my genesect

  11. I got my first shiny fairy type… its a jigglypuff with it’s hidden ability, still really hard to tell it is shiny though :/

      • I lost an Yveltal for a GTS “claimed” contrary snivy. I was stupid .enough to fall for it.. I lost a keldeo earlier (not on gts though) cause I’m extremely gullible. If you gut tells you to do it, then do it, but its 80% most likely a scam from gts.

    • If you go to serebii’s website, he has a chat room on the left hand column of his page called WiFi-Chat… I’m surprised many don’t know about this.

      Someone traded me Shiny Genesect, Keldeo, 6IV Ditto, all for shiny diggersby and egg move mudkip/cyndaquill…. go there for tradess….. most of the people there are stuck up and want out of the worlds trades but if you go there really late at night like I did you can find good traders
