The very first Pokémon is set to air in North America on Cartoon Network on January 4th at 8:30 am (confirm with your local listings). The movie has been digitally remastered and should be a real treat for older fans of the series who may have seen the movie when they were younger.

Movie Synopsis

Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket, had ambitious plans to take over the world, involving his latest experiment, a powerful clone of Mew—Mewtwo. Mewtwo is very powerful, and also very smart—smart enough to not want to be controlled by Giovanni. It escaped from the lab, and now Mewtwo begins to concoct its own scheme, clandestinely inviting a number of Pokémon Trainers to the ultimate test. Of course, if it’s an event for talented Trainers, Ash Ketchum will be right in the front row!

Ash’s excitement turns to fear and anger when Mewtwo reveals its plan for domination, creating powerful clones of all of the kids’ Pokémon so it can even the “imbalance” between Pokémon and their Trainers. Despite Ash’s protests, Mewtwo refuses to believe that Pokémon and people can be friends. But faced with the determination of a young Trainer and the love of his Pokémon, Mewtwo just might have to reconsider, especially when pitted against the power of the mysterious Mew! — Official Site

  2. So i have a Timid HA Nidoran male with the IVs of 31/31/x/31/31/31 The problem is, it’s missing a defense IV and instead has an Attack IV. Should i keep trying for a defense IV instead of Attack?

  5. The Sinnoh Dex is now done, and with that I must make the sad transition back to Education Mode. I won’t be able to play again until Pokemon Bank comes out, nor would I really need to. So HURRY UP GAME FREAK!

  6. Soo i was watching a Tamashii Hiroka video and she’s right about video game industries. They aim most games towards guys with sexualized characters and alot of female characters in video games serve no purpose other than a love interest or eye candy. It’s sad. There are games that DO have female characters that are strong characters. Most game adverts mostly have males, the only other time that a girl is in the commerical playing the games is when they’re party games like Just Dance. Normally, i play as male characters in video games and would not play as a female. I played Dead Space on an android tablet a few years ago, I had no Idea i was playing as a female character the whole time. Despite that, i loved the game. I picked up Final Fantasy 13 and played as lightning which is a total badass. I wish video game industries would market their games for everyone. I’m glad Pokemon is a franchise that is marketed towards everyone and Junichi even says in the game that the pokedex isn’t just a tool, it’s a representation of the connections made with others.
When i have kids of my own, i will teach them to be Pokemon Masters.

    • Amen to that last part. No matter what happens in my life, Pokemon will be there to pick me up. These next four years or so will have drastic changes, but no matter what I will make time to play. And as for PokeJungle…I never plan on leaving this place. I can’t wait to see and meet new people once new games are announced.

    • I’m not a fan of when they oversexualize woman in video games because it makes it slightly uncomfortable to play, but I think that women in games can be both pretty and deadly without having to have revealing clothing on,an example would be katniss from the hunger games, shes deadly, pretty and not an object, video game makers should learn that.
