Pokémon Smash Weekly Coverage
We’re back with our weekly Pokémon Smash post.
From now on unless an episode is said to contain significant details on an upcoming game/episode/movie/etc, Smash coverage will simply be a stream (usually our own stream), with no live coverage. Apologies for this, when we can we will provide live updates an any episode, not just specials. Staff will still be on hand during the episodes airing, it is simply live updates that will not show up in the post.

I really hope the next pokemon sunday shows more details about character customization! I wanna know more! And it’s been the one thing people are overlooking/haven’t brought up that much lol I want my trainer to be dec’d out!!!
just so you know pokemon Sunday and pokemon smash are two different shows, with pokemon sunday they actually did stuff like show silhouettes, anime previews, and play game demos.pokemon smash does not do it that often
There the same show, they just decided to change the name.
And the reason why they don’t show silhouettes and the like for X/Y is because of the worldwide release. Don’t forget each episode is prerecorded weeks in advance so they have to plan carefully what they release and when so that the dates match up for when they can reveal stuff in CoroCoro etc.
excuse me but what did they show in smash this week coz I didn’t have time to watch it online .
nothing really torwards pokemon XY they just showed Malamar and Pangoro. they said who they evolved from and that they evolve in a new way that is my guess at least

Why Arbok is not closing its eyes when sleeping?
Snakes don’t have eyelids. 🙂 They have a clear lens over the eye called a brille.
But Arbok is Pokemon.
in that moment it is being attacked, it’s not sleeping yet. and when it is already sleeping, we only see its back, so we don’t know if it closes its eyes or not
Yes, you may be right. I guess that Zzz effects are part of hypnosis animation.

Hmm. Maybe there not finished with the models yet? I think (I’m not sure) that it closes its eyes in B/W/B2/W2. So, we might be able to find out later. 😉
I guess so.
Three possibilities:
1) The sleep animation is not implemented… yet
2) Blame the camera angle after the turn ends (It may have closed its eyes in that moment)
3) It’s intentional, as real-life snakes don’t have eyelids

I know this has nothing to do with Smash, but in Dream World I found a Drought Vulpix, Magic Guard Abra, and Marvel Scale Dratini in one day! I’m so mad i can only pick one.
Defensive Multiscale Dragonite can annoy opponents to no end. But Drought Ninetales is more helpful in supporting the team.
What happend to the pokemon game show
Just a random speculative thought about Sylveon. (Assuming that Pancham evolves into Pangoro while having a DARK type pokemon in ‘your’ party, as the insider rumor suggests, and Sylveon is the only new eeveelution, with no DRAGON type counterpart.) I could see Eevee evolving into Sylveon while having a FAIRY type in ‘your’ party.
Nope its actually confirmed that Eevee has 1 more evolve form yet to be revealed. It will definitely be a dragon form.
Gen 2 arrived, Psychic was nerfed with Dark (two eevee forms)
Gen 4 arrived, Grass was nerfed with Ice (two eevee forms)
Gen 6 arrived, Dragon was nerfed with Fairy (two eevee forms)
Who confirmed it? Don’t fool people, nothing is official.
Yes you’re right and besides I can’t really imagine a design for a dragon eeveelution, but we’ve always been having more than one eeveelution, Gamefreak hasn’t revealed even half of the pokedex who knows maybe there’s another eeveelution
No one has confirmed anything, it’s all speculation.
This “confirmation” is based on the speculative video produced by someone on YouTube, I presume?
