A release date for the European version of Pokémon Rumble U has been announced. After releasing in April of this year in Japan the rest of the world has been eagerly awaiting an announcement for release dates outside of Japan. European players will be able to get their hand on the downloadable title starting August 15, via the Nintendo Wii U eShop.
There’s still no word on an American release date, but chances are it won’t be long after the European date. As soon as we receive any updates you’ll hear about them here! Nintendo has confirmed that the NFC figures available in Japan will be up for purchase in Europe, although it’s not yet clear on how many or specifically how they will be distributed.
UPDATE: The North America release date has been confirmed as August 29th, 2013. Figures will be sold exclusively at GameStop locations and will have a MSRP of $3.99. Glad we weren’t left out!

What would make me really happy is if they released a Pokemon XY 3DS XL console outside of Japan. If I’m going to buy a 3DS just to play Pokemon might as well be a Pokemon 3DS.
I’m with you on that. Would really like the gold XY 3DS. But I’m thinking we will only end up getting the Blue one instead. Really hoping for a reveal on it soon so I can at least either preorder the game on its own, or go straight to he console.

IGN mentioned that the figures will come packaged in concealing capsules. Don’t you just love that they kept the randomization of which one you’ll get through localization? I’m sad. Looks like I’ll be getting my Deoxys off of eBay.
