Things are about to get crazy in the gaming world. Also recently revealed is that the Official Pokémon site will update with lots of new X & Y information on the 12th of this month.

This post is where you’ll find all of our Nintendo E3 coverage, from the special Direct that will be airing to the smaller reveals and sessions on the E3 show floor. Got a question? Ask it below! We want to hear all of your thoughts about E3 this year. What are you most excited for? Anything, put it below!

    • I’d like to know this too. Hopefully the main meat of reveals will come during the Direct or Q & A session. If it comes at 2am BST I’ll be asleep! -_-

    • CoroCoro will most likely leak over night, while the Nintendo Direct will be in the morning, the official sites will most likely update during or after the Roundtable

So basically, keep on watch all day because you will be getting news all day lol

  1. For some reason I thought it was the 11th today & that we would be seeing Masuda & Co today.
I was really heart-broken and devestated when I checked the date & schedule LOL
Anyways. I’m really excited for this forthcoming week. There’s just so much to come.
I hope we get some really interesting information.
Not just new Pokemon/Types. I want to know more about the background/concept of the game.
I think we’ll be getting a lot of information this week, like loads :]

    • Woo woo!

Between this tomorrow and the Game of Thrones series finale tonight (I’m British, we get everything late) I literally could not be any more excited without having some kind of cardiac problem. It’s like tonight is Christmas Eve for pokefans across the globe and tomorrow we get to open all our prezzies of new pokemon and new info and amazing reveals…

…I need to go drink a camomile tea and sit down.

      • Thanks, I just found a schedule with all the presentations with all the timezones.
Guess I’ll be eating while watching the news coming

        • Oh, thankyou for this! Didn’t realise Nintendo was so much later than the rest. Anyway, I’m hoping for Some indepth on Xerneas and Yveltal, and Sylveon I guess. I don’t think E3’s the right environment to announce new Pokemon. But maybe they’ll go into the gameplay, show us some cool new features or something.

          • Nope, it says when is Nintendo Direct showcasing but the Pokémon stand itself would be around 6 pm LA timezone. So for my timezone (London’s) it’ll be around Wednesday 1 Am

  2. So Nintendo does their presentations tomorrow? Thats fine. I’m anticipating the X and Y stuff mostly, but I can’t wait until the Super Smash Bros. U information is released. 🙂

    • CoroCoro comes out on the 15th of every month. That has never changed. Its Japanese centered so don’t expect to be able to buy one.

If you want Leaks: earliest is the 11th. We’re getting E3 news supposedly. So there may not be any point in CoroCoro leaks right now.

    • Nintendo presentation will start tomorrow at 3 PM in your timezone. The Pokémon press conference would be around 1 AM of wednesday if I’m not mistaken

  3. Please be advised that while I have no problem with voicing negative opinions, I will not tolerate shitting on whichever company. Comments that do will get moderated, although I will be rather kind :).

If you promise me to be polite, I’ll give you this in return: http://i.imgur.com/61qG5bu.jpg

  4. My body is ready for Nintendo, Pokemon, and Non-Specific Action Figure

Since im what most people call a “hardcore gamer”, I payed attention to the EA and Microsoft conferences as well as the future Ubisoft and Sony ones to come. I’m insanely excited for Halo 5 and the new Metal Gear Solid which is rumored to be coming to Wii U as well.

This will probably be the biggest Pokemon news week of the year, I mean just look at what’s all going to be going on. The Nintendo Direct is going to be at 10am for all you guys like me who live in ESTtime zones, and hopefully CoroCoro leaks early in the morning so I have something to look at while I wait. And then the X&Y Roundtable in the afternoon….I think I might pass out

    • Between the Pokemon news this week and Animal Crossing New Leaf’s release this friday I might join you in passing out! It’s a damn good week for gamers.

      • It really is, last time I was this excited for everything gaming was E3 2011

Tomorrow is going to be an incredible day, and I can’t help but wonder what’s going to be revealed tomorrow. It’s like Christmas in June

  5. I’m really excited for the new SSB games. The director of them said they weren’t going to add very many new characters, so please Nintendo, make now the time that you finally add in costumes for characters other than Wario! And for that matter, show a few! That way I’ll have something nice to dream about for the next few months.

  7. Right now, before Nintendo starts off, I’m definitely most excited about Kingdom Hearts 3. The reveal trailer had me squealing and shrieking, as giddy as a school girl at a One Direction concert. I was fully prepared to not care at all about yesterday until Sony sold me on a PS4 with that one just over a minute teaser trailer.

  11. I’m glad the X and Y news was the first to be announced. Good for Nintendo. Those games are among the most anticipated for the 3DS this year, and I am honestly glad that they held back Sylveon’s type until today.

  12. The bat like Pokemon is Noivern. The name seems to be a mixture between Noise and Wyvern, which may make it a dragon type. It also seems like a dark type as well.

  13. Anyone else thinking that Eevee’s evolution method to become Sylveon may have something to do with the Pokemon-Amie because of the bond kinds of stuff?

    Reply
  14. Possible name origins-

    Noivern – Noise/Wyvern
Vivillon – From the French word “papillon”, meaning “butterfly”

    Not too creative, it seems.

  15. I’m done! Nintendo wins, you can have my money, my bank account, hell you can have my girlfriend!

I bet no one was expecting the XY trailer in the beginning! Being the only 3DS game besides SSB, I don’t Blame you !! The new bat Ppkemon is awesome and that attack it used was killer, and I love that little Butterfly, it’s so cute!

ANF FINALLY! FAIRY TYPE IS REAL! AND MOON BLAST MADE SYLVEON EPIC AGAIN!

WAS THAT A RHYHORN OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOUSE?

MEGAMAN IN SMASJ BROS? NEW 4-PLAYER MARIO GAME? MARIO KART 8? SMASH ON THE 3DS?!?! POKEMON XY COMING ON THE 12TH OF OCTOBER?

I’m done, my body isn’t ready, and to think we’re still getting CoroCoro, Smash, and the Roundtanle later

Someone get me some water x.x

    • I did NOT expect it so soon either!! I was totally prepared to have to wait 35 wins into the 37 min presentation.

But no it was all suddenly FAIRY! NEW POKEMON! right off the bat and I spat a little of my soda onto the keyboard -_-

  16. So…

Azurill’s never made sense, since it was released. It’s a Normal-Type that evolves into a Water-Type.

    BUT.

    NOW.

It’ll be a Normal/Fairy that evolves into a Water/Fairy. All confusion gone. Meaning they’ve planned Fairy-type since at least Gen 3. Hats of to you, Nintendo, you made me squeal out loud in the middle of my English class when you confirmed Fairy-Type.

  17. Eiffel Tower= Poke Tower, 8th Electric Gym in the game
The Kalos region’s gym count is 16, rather than the original 8, and the truth is that the Kalos Region’s map is not the whole map (what has been reveled so far is not the entire Kalos Region). The Kalos Region consists of three portions (mainland has 8 gyms, Oceanside archipelago has 4, mountainside skies has 4 as well), each inhabited by a specific legendary. There will not be a Pokémon Z due to this, however, a sequel may be confirmed next year or so. There are three parts of the region, the eastern side is Mountainside Kalos, the very middle is called Mainland Kalos, and the western side of Kalos is called the Kalos Archipelago, or simply Oceanside Kalos. The Pokedex will be split the same way, and this hints the fact that the Kalos region is one big region split into three sections, to enhance the experience. This picture shows what I am talking about, ad the region is split into thirds. The red side, Mountainside Kalos, is inhabited by Yveltal, and Mountainside Kalos takes place on the mountainside and partially in the sky. Yveltal is a Psychic/Flying type. The Oceanside part of Kalos (Archipelago– blue part) is not inhabited by Xerneas, but by a new Fairy/Dragon type legendary that is yet to be confirmed. The middle part (green part) of Kalos is where Xerneas (Fairy/Flying type) “rules,” however, it is said that Xerneas will have a new forme, along with Yveltal and the Dragon/Fairy legendary, to match the landscape they reside upon. This Fairy/Dragon legendary spends its time ruling the Seas along with a “helper Pokémon,” whereas Xerneas rules the mountains and the skies above the Kalos Region, and Xerneas rules the land, trying to bring peace to Kalos’ inhabitants. It is said that Xerneas and Yveltal are not friendly, and Xerneas tries to bring the land to peace, and the Mountains/Skies to wreak havoc upon (due to a legend) whereas Yveltal’s purposes are exactly opposite from Xerneas. The Dragon/Fairy Legendary, however, wishes to bring the sea to peace and to destroy all land and all mountains/skies, so that Kalos is one big Archipelago. Xerneas wants Kalos to be one big land formation. Yveltal wants the Kalos Region to be one big Mountainside area in the skies. They all serve different purposes, and want to change Kalos, once and for all.
