For the past day or so the site seems to have been having issues with loading correctly and displaying some pages. The issue seems to come and go but we’re aware of the issue and currently in the process of trying to solve it. E3 begins in a couple of days and it’s going to be some of the busiest few days for gaming next week. Anyone who’s anyone will be at the expo showing off their latest and greatest. Much like we do with Nintendo Direct and Pokémon Smash (see below for some more news on Smash) we’ll be covering the special E3 Nintendo Direct that Nintendo will be broadcasting.
That means we’ll have a live stream for you, the PokéJungle chat will hopefully be buzzing and as you’ve come to expect live text coverage. This time we’re going to have more staff on stand-by so we can catch more details on what is revealed or shown in the Direct, and we’re expecting some big news and reveals! Nintendo will also be hosting a media showcase later the same day intended for journalists attending E3. It’s not expected that much will be revealed in this session but if anything is revealed, we’ll hunt it down and have it up here for you!
Perhaps most importantly for us will be the Pokémon X & Y presentation and Q&A session with Junichi Masuda and Tsunekazu Ishihara will be hosted later in the same day. Whilst we’ve not got any confirmation if this event will be streamed it seems likely that we could receive some new information from it, and as usual we’ll bring you as much coverage from the presentation and Q&A session as we can. If a stream is available we will of course embed it into our coverage post.
So, when is all this happening? Below is a list of events along with their corresponding date and time. We will likely have two posts for our coverage: one for the entirety of Nintendo coverage and one for coverage of the Pokémon X & Y session and presentation. Posts will be published a few hours in advance of the events beginning with a countdown to the start. To top off an already crazy week we will have Corocoro leaking during our E3 coverage and as recently revealed Pokémon Smash will be holding an XY blowout on the 16th of this month. Regardless of when we’re definitely going to get some new information on X&Y next week. Masuda is also set to appear on the show so expect to have information direct from him.

We’ve got an incredibly fun week ahead of us (not mentioning hectic for us staff!), so we think it’s a good idea to bring the community here together for a little more fun. E3 is known for revealing brand new games and new information for existing ones to fans, and it seems certain this year is going to be no different.
