This week we’re expecting a fair amount of information on Pokémon X & Y (although it’s like a re-reveal of what CoroCoro showcased) and an appearance from Masuda!
Our LIVE coverage, stream and chat can be found below! Also, stick around in the chat once the episode has ended for an after-party discussion!

We get new Pokemon weekly!? That’s amazing! I wonder what we’ll be getting next week then..
I guess “Smash” will be more productive then being the Corocoro leftovers.
I’m gonna wait til u guys cover everything =.=
I could have sworn it said Masuda will be revealing a NEW pokemon every week?
What was with the girl group in eevee costumes singing?? Is that next week? It might tie into a reveal
This is how I think it’s gonna go down.
Pokemon Smash Week 1: NEW CLOTHES!
Pokemon Smash Week 2: NEW HAIR!
Pokemon Smash Week 3: NEW SKIN!
Pokemon Smash Week 100: SITTING!
Hey Kriffix, what was that you said in chat?
From Serebii – “We’ll be on hand each week for the news should any come each week.”
Yo :3
Just that since there is a chance that Smash will show weekly news from now on, I wondered if other sites will put heavier focus on Smash from now on. But as NL or WPM said, it may just be the clips they have yet to show that they intend to regurgitate from now on >__< The optimist inside me would like to think otherwise though
They did only show footage of Gogoat. Even then, waiting 3-4 weeks is manageable with a clear target in sight. XD
They will be showing the same news from Corocoro for the next several weeks no big deal like usual.
Who called it? Same Corocoro news! Ha. Proves you shouldn’t get your hopes up when it is obvious what they will show!
it was pretty obvious, they didn’t even get the trailer or anything shown or there. But it is nice to see some added footage, like gogoats animation and walking around the town with the hiker.
I knew it was obvious, some didn’t though. And yes it is nice to see some footage but it doesn’t add much.
Looks like you’re enjoying this…
A bit.
Yes you were right haha! Stupid me.
I wouldn’t say stupid, just (blindly) hopeful.
Couldn’t help it lol, I just wanna know Sylveon’s type already!
Most of us do. It is just not gonna happen until the new type is revealed because obviously she is that new type.
You’re right 🙂
We always get the same news when Smash airs after a CoroCoro…its pretty much self explanatory.
Yes I knew. But some didn’t.
Btw I hope those that bashed WPM have seen the reasoning for him not leaking anything and feel remorse.
I was just wondering about the part where Junichi revealed the map of Kalos He pointed out some cities including the castle & the Colosseum looking place? was just wondering why it wasn’t mentioned in the article & if it meant anything…probably doesn’t 😛
It was just the stuff that caught their eye. I didn’t hear them say anything important about them.
oh ok thanks ^^;
Sylveon’s type is fairy because in the map it shows the fairy type gym
Actually, in the map it shows a pink crystalline structure that might have a Pokeball symbol on the front. It doesn’t really look like a Gym at all.
I saw this at deviantart look
Wait so what has been revealed so far?!
Has anbody seen this?
GoKid!
Seen it but we don’t know if it is anything more than plants yet. But it wouldn’t be too weird to see a evo before gogoat.
Just a little something I noticed that put a smile on my face, at 2:49 in this video we can see pokemon FINALLY have a fainting animation and won’t just drop through the ground. Nothing much, I know but for long time players it’s nice to see it 🙂

oh wow i didn’t notice that, nice catch! I like them showing quick videos like that, even though it’s things we already know, we can always find new things hidden like that.
Huh. Interesting find!
Was I the only one that thought the big news for Smash was going to be Sylveon’s type being revealed?
