Ruby and Sapphire remakes would be amazing. Hoenn is probably the most interesting region of all generations, and a graphical overhaul could make them as great as they should’ve been back then!

ehhh, kinda. 1st gen- kanto. 2nd gen- johto/kanto. 3rd gen- hoen/ kanto remake 4th gen) sinnoh- Johto remake (with kanto). So its not that kanto will sell more than the others, just that if you remake johto, you need to remake kanto as well. Assuming that this is true, that kanto is remade with johtobecause of gsc, then kanto would have only been remade once

When I saw the red and blue logos, I thought it was a Ruby/Sapphire remake 🙁
I definitely won’t be the only one to say this, but does the fact that one of them has blue text and the other have red mean that these sequels feature Hoenn accessibility? I really hope so!
I doubt it has anything to do with Hoenn… I figured it’s more of a reference to Reshiram and Zekrom’s colours, white/red and black/blue.

So since the games are coming out three months earlier than usual for Japan, I think that means the usual spring release for the western world is up in the air for release dates. Could even be around the holidays 2012.
did somebody really see steven in the movie preview? that and the logo colors could be a hint… keep in mind that once you finished johto in g/s, you could access kanto, and those (to the best of my knowledge) are direct sequels too, are they not?
Guys! Someone said that Skyla was brought into the annoucnement. Well they are not going to have you go around UNOVA again. And also, in BLACK AND WHITE, they say that N and Reshiram/Zekrom were seen in a distant region. You all know what that means. Skyla is going to fly you to Hoenn to track down N. And you will be collecting Hoenn gym badges. Remake of Ruby and Sapphire and Black and white sequels in one!

Pokemon has definitely gone to the gutter now. Of course Game Freak is milking this series for everything that it is worth. These games are going to be on the exact same system as the original Black and White. This means that the graphics will most likely remain the same and there will hardly be any changes other than Kyurem’s two formes.
The story BETTER BE a sequel to Black and White, not just a remake like the third versions (Platinum, Emerald, and Crystal).
