Today’s “Point 1” was about Victini’s new “Flame Bomb” attack which will inflict burns on all pokemon on the battlefield (besides itself of course). Nothing new information-wise, but I know you all love to see any footage you can :3

Totally off topic, but once Melkor starts posting more Pokemon descriptions and silhouettes, do you think you could please put the images and the descriptions in different spoiler tags? I can’t seem to stay away from learning what types of Pokemon are in the dex, but I’d like to be surprised by their actual designs when I play the game for myself in a few days.

As i said, I can’t help but be curious about what Pokemon I’ll be running into, but when I read I’ll be fighting a living trash bag or ice cream, I don’t want to chance upon seeing it until the epic fight of epicness actually happens. xD I want to save my excitement or disappointment until I’m staring at the official pixels.

Not enough time. I’m working on a “New Pokemon” page that displays a list of all the pokemon (which I should’ve had awhile ago) which will be better than Serebii’s. I don’t like how he made his.

Hey pokeJungle, I thought of something and i wanted to get your opinion on it.
How possible do you think the chances are that the Garbage Bag pokemon could end up being a Weekly pokemon (like drifloon)?? Like on “trash day” one will appear in an area with other real garbage.

Complete Burn can be learned by him and we thought that was a Victini only move.
Flame Bomb seems exactly like Surf and Earthquake, so I’m sure it can be learned by other pokemon.

I take it you didn’t update your bio when you added the rest of the teams. I noticed on your Bio it still says that they highest number of views you’ve had in one day is 10,000, but I remember you said you got 40k one day.
Anyway, looks like a pretty sweet attack. I’ll be curious to see Reshiram and Zekrom’s signature attacks (I forget what they’re called). From the pictures, they look like they’re going to be awesome.
Correct :B Visitor wise 11,000 is our high point and back in DP release we actually only got 5,000 unique… that was my mistake. Pageview wise we just did 94,000 yesterday which was definitely a new record 🙂

Just curious if you might understand something more than me, in the 2nd gear evo description they mentioned a platform (also mentioned it for the spiked ball pokemon). Do you know what they might mean?

I am not sure what “platform” means in terms of the spiky ball pokemon. It could flatten out and have spikey mace ball tentacles coming off of it but other than that I am not sure.

lol I actually shut down my site for a year :B There was no real news to cover and the outdated-ness of my articles made me sad and I didn’t have time to fix them. That is why in my site’s new incarnation I focus on fast news instead of having content.
How would someone become a staff member on this site?
I usually handpick them from commentors but I haven’t done that for awhile because we’re kind of full. NL was recently added because Kriffix and him bounced translations off each other a lot so we invited him into the fold. Usually Japanese skills are required Dx I think Daigo and Jonny are the only two who don’t really do Japanese, but Daigo watches Oha Suta for images and I’ve taught Jonny how to navigate 2ch and look for information xD
I guess I don’t qualify then hahaha
Only thing I could really do is upload videos and post opinions. I have a youtube channel with slightly over 600 subscribers.
My non-pokemon channel has about 600 subscribers 8D I hardly ever do vBlogs anymore for lack of quality webcam.

I have 3 current Playthroughs going on, but I plan to end them all or put them on hiatus when the roms come out on Saturday.
I plan to upload them as fast as possible. Meaning I want to get through the games as fast as I can.
I can make it a “brought to you by Pokejungle” thing or a “Im doing this for Pokejungle” thing if you want XD
Its kinda risky though because the roms could fail a lot and I won’t understand most of my attacks.

Frankly, I think katakana’s more important in a Pokemon game. Usually all of the names are in katakana, and if they want to emphasize something, they switch it from hiragana to katakana. ^^;
For instance, if an NPC says “Go see Aloe” in the game, and Aloe’s name is the only thing in katakana, I’d rather get “blahblah ALOE” than “GO TO blahblah.” The first you can figure out. The second, you wander around and hope. XD
I also plan on getting the rom. If someone will tell me how to video-screencapture, I could help the coverage as well.

My forums are… a little slow you could say. We definitely have a dedicated user base though, even if it is small. I think it is part of MMC’s charm frankly :3 I expect a rise in the number of users once we go from MyBB to Invision Board.

Besides costing more IPB offers a more professional look and has MUCH better user profiles. It has Facebook-ish features were you can update a status and have people comment on your profile and stuff :3
Im assuming that you are making a team of people to playthrough BW like Serebii does, but there is a problem I see with that. Will you have actual footage? You might need to get someone that can do that…

You make a compelling argument. Hmm. I was thinking as far as ‘team’ goes that for video playthroughs obviously focusing on 12 different pokemon is better than 6. Each person has diff starter, both genders covered, etc.
