New video from Legendary Pokemon (website) shows a new battle with Shikijika and some new Pokemon Musical footage. Not sure how they got this video “exclusive”, but better for us I guess 8D More stuff to watch! Not much is revealed, but here goes:

Looks like Shikijika has a good chance of being grass type. I personally love the idea of an evolution with branch antlers.
was shikijika the pokemon that was rumored to have different color forms based on the season or something like that?

It could still be grass and season-based, I suppose. Sure the rumor would be false, but it doesn’t really stop Shijika from being grass-type.
For example: Winter evolution could be grass/ice, Summer could be grass/ground.
Just a thought 🙂
On that note:
Spring could be grass/water, like a marsh/swamp theme.
Fall could be grass/… What has to do with fall? Halloween is more of a Western thing, so not ghost… I don’t know why the rumor had psychic… maybe they’ll throw steel or something in there randomly…
i wouldnt count out ghost this game has a whole western theme going on so that would make sense
Or fire, since the leaves turn red. 🙂 Also fits in with the Halloween/Jack-o-lantern bit.

Fall: Grass/Ghost (Halloween)
Spring: Grass/Normal (Shijika looks it…)

I also have a theory involving Shikijika… Here goes: to incorporate the season change feature better with Pokemon, they created Shikijika, a Pokemon that, like Castform, changes formes with specific conditions. The condition it adapts to is the season itself. Ex. The front sprite we’ve seen is the Fall forme, while the Sugi art is it’s Spring forme, and it’s Winter and Summer forme have yet to be seen.
If this theory is right, I’m soooooooo going to get Shikijika.

hey i need u guys opinion i reallyyyy want black and white annd cant wait until next spring so i might get it from japan. but they sed in this game u do make descisions that affect the game and since i dont get japanese i wouldnt know what i was deciding. i also wouldnt know the moves. and the story is more complicated so i wudnt really know the story. its also around 60 bucks plus s/h from play asia so shud i get it from japan??
I would wait for the translation. It’s a lot less fun if you don’t understand what’s going on.
