So according to an interview
Ken Sugimori states that they tried to work on a design for mega flygon for both xy AND oras, but could not come up With a good design so it had been scrapped twice
That never stopped them for making Mega Sableye, Mega Slowbro and Mega Kangaskan

Mega Sableye looks cool tho (imo) M. Slowbro, not cool looking but I personally like it. Mega Kangaskhan? Well it’s design makes sense, I’d give it that much but from an aesthetic standpoint, it’s just “eh”
I don’t think their designs are actually bad, It’s just that they are very uncreative

Defeated Battle Chantelaine Evelyn on my first attempt! I did go on the cheap route and used an Endeavor Aron buuut what can you do when they keep throwing bulky ass steel and poison types against your Mega Gardevoir
I need to consider doing something like this sometime.
