Super Size Pumpkaboo WiFi Event

A new WiFi event is officially live! Knowing the moves Trick-or-Treat and Scary Face, and holding a Rocky Helmet, this Super Size Pumpkaboo is available for download from NOW until Halloween – so get it while you can! At the moment of me posting this the event is only live for North America, but as the day rolls on it should be available in other regions with the same event start and end dates.

Reminder that the special seven hour long NicoNico livestream event is later tonight, with the promised new Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire info to be announced at midnight JST; so be sure to check back later for what was revealed!

    After reading up on the information in Serebii; they said during the final hour their going to show new OR/AS information. I don’t know if it’s going to be 11:00 PM or AM (EST). I’m just going to hop into the stream 10 minutes before the OR/AS information.

  76. I am extremely sure that this livestream will be yet again a disappointment.
    I’m expecting about 2 new Megas and that’s about it.
    I don’t think anything more will be revealed.
    And I have two solid reasons why.
    1) “Groundbreaking Pokemon Announcment”
    2) “Scoop of the Century”

    Guess what those things were?
    Shit.
    So don’t expect much this time, either. Nintendo likes to over-hype us with things, which I hope to God won’t be the case when the full OR/AS games come out.

      • Thank you. This is exactly my point right here.
        I hope ORAS doesn’t fall into the same shithole that Titanfall, Watch Dogs and Destiny fell into.
        The trailers and information won us over, but there was a lack of many things in each game.

        • That’s true.
          Unfortunately XY’s story wasn’t completely great. It wasn’t spread out enough. The story really started about halfway through the game, which is quite the while.

          • The quality of X/Y’s story aside, point is they didn’t reveal much (even if we do have an idea how the plots of R/S/E went) except the evil teams and some of the characters involved.

          • My point is they are not talking about the story for a good reason. Would they trailer-or-corocoro-spoil the plot to kids and other players who haven’t played (or even heard) of R/S/E? I don’t think so.

          • Actually this is not the case for pokemon they mainly show new pokemon
            And since me as are our ‘new pokemon’ they show that off

            They have showed more

          • Keep in mind ORAS isn’t just being sold to the people with R/S/E nostalgia. You may be expecting too much, or content geared towards your interests.

            There are a lot of mechanics been shown. Menacing Cascoon has posted some.

          • Ok, let’s see, what I can piece together from the trailers and screenshots.
            1. You pick a protagonist, male or female
            2. You get one of three starter Pokemon
            3. You fight team Magma and Aqua*
            * note that the trailers don’t say one is the bad guy or good guy – it just seems you encounter their leaders in a “boss battle” – so a reasonable watcher who hasn’t heard of R/S/E will assume they’re both antagonists in both games a-la Emerald.
            4. You travel to some cities. There’s a cool treehouse city and a bike lane.
            5. You engage in some gym battles. Roxanne is shown.
            6. There will be megas. Kyogre and Groudon seem to be powering up.
            7. There are side activities like contests and secret bases. We’re introduced to their own experts.

            8. Steven is contemplating the secret of Mega Evolution.
            9. Birch is attacked and you pick a starter.

            I think that’s pretty good. If you are expecting Trailers Always Spoil, I guess you are expecting too much.

  81. I highly expect Primal Rayquaza to be revealed this weekend on Get TV.
    However, they may pull a #TrollFreak and reveal it on the livestream AND Get TV. ;~;

  83. Honestly, I want Rayquaza to be the last Mega related thing to be revealed until the games are released. Sorry, but even Mega Milotic and Mega Flygon will have to wait until the games come out. That’s just my opinion though. I just want to see more gameplay from here on out.

    Oh, and I’ll avoid any Pokemon website like the Black Plague one week before ORAS is released. I don’t want to be tempted to be spoiled again.

  84. I often ask myself, “How are the Final Gen VI Main Games supposed to top ORAS?” Give us Primal Zygarde X and Primal Zygarde Y, along with a few more new Megas? Great.

    • You get a Mega, I get a Mega, we all get Megas! Something however tells me, that we may not be getting any Mega Evolutions after Generation VI. Because ORAS will tell the origin/dive deeper into the story of Mega Evolutions. I think Z/X2/Y2 will be the installment where all the Megas from X and Y and ORAS and even more in Z will come together in the final version(s) of Generation VI. I think the total # of Mega Evolutions will be at 70 something. 30 in XY, 25 in ORAS, and 20 in Z/X2/Y2. That Hiro guy who leaked the Fairy types also said the Mega Evolutions were there to even out competitive play or something.

  86. Primal/Mega Rayquaza should be revealed on the 3rd or at least even more majorly hinted to as if it wasn’t already hinted enough. I hope it’s Primal though because it would make much more sense. And I can imagine getting a new move and ability like Groudon and Kyogre’s except that it clears out the weather and keeps it clear as long as Rayquaza is out on the field. But like Dicie said earlier, I have this little inkling in my head that they are gonna pull a trollface act and just reveal the silhouette and force us to wait until Saturday night and that they’ll put something out of left field. Perhaps the Mega that is exclusive in the demo? I’m gonna go a limb and I know this sounds ridiculous but I think that it may have something to do with Deoxys because the purple stone in it’s chest looks like it could fit a Mega Stone or something. And I have a feeling it will be linked to Mega Evolution along with Rayquaza. Perhaps Rayquaza shot down Deoxys’s meteor long ago and pieces of it scattered throughout the world and were embedded with a special energy. In the Granite Cave painting, a meteor like feature was seen.

  100. You know what, I STILL believe in Mega Milotic!! I may have believed a little less, just so I don’t feel disappointed later (expect it won’t happen, it may actually happen), but a part of me still said, ‘There’s still a chance! Don’t lose hope!’, so I still hope for a Mega Milotic, and if there isn’t then here’s my logic:

    TrollFreak just believes Milotic is beautiful and strong enough, and if it gets a mega, then it may be interpreted as Milotic not being beautiful enough and must receive an upgrade.
