When you initially create your character or later go to a hair salon to change your hairstyle, you’ll be able to choose from 15 colors — but that actually isn’t the full extent of options. When you start Main Mission 7, you can opt to take on Side Mission 12, which will reward you with 8 additional colors!
How to start Side Mission 12
Side Mission 12 begins by speaking to Vivace, who is located in the Bleu District outside Coiffure Clips, a hair salon. She is near to the southwestern Bleu Pokémon Center.
She will ask the player to show her the five different colors of Flabébé, orange, white, red, blue and yellow. Speaking to her again will give you the option to show her one of the Flabébé colors and you can show her them individually to unlock a corresponding hair color immediately: orange, white, red, blue and yellow.
After you show her all the colors and complete the Side Mission, you will unlock three additional colors: Passion Pink, Aqua and Purple.
Where to find each color of Flabébé
If you have any Flabébé in your Pokémon Boxes, you can show her immediately, but if you are missing any colors of them, the sections below cover where to find them.
Where to find Orange Flabébé
I recommend getting Orange Flabébé first, if you haven’t already caught it, because there’s a spawn point northeast of the quest giver Vivace nearby. Just head down Bleu Street towards the center of Lumiose City and look to the left near the two bushes midway down the street.
Where to find White Flabébé
White Flabébé can be found in Vert Sector 3 in the garden directly below the map text for said sector. There are also White Floette in the garden, so make sure you’re catching a Flabébé. They’ll be floating around the Florges fountains.
Where to find Red Flabébé
Red Flabébé are quite common and you may already have caught one. The easiest spot to get one is in the middle of Wild Zone 3.
Where to find Blue Flabébé
Blue Flabébé can be found on top of the roof in Magenta Sector 4 and you can get right to its location by taking the teleporter located to the northwest of Magenta Plaza
Where to find Yellow Flabébé
Yellow Flabébé can be found on the bridge near the south entrance to Wild Zone 6 near the yellow flowers.
