How many new Mega Evolutions are introduced in Legends: Z-A?

Are there any new Pokémon, regional evolutions or regional forms?
No, there are no brand new Pokémon, evolutions to existing Pokémon or Pokémon that received new regional forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The game only features new Mega Evolutions for existing Pokémon.
Are clothing and character customization options gender locked?
No, both male and female characters can wear any clothes and have access to all hair, makeup and face options in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
Can the auto-save feature be disabled?
No, there is no setting in Pokémon Legends: Z-A to disable the auto-save feature, unlike past Pokémon games that featured auto-save.
Protagonists

Starting Pokémon
Players will be able to choose between Chikorita, Tepig and Totodile when starting their adventure in Lumiose City.
Characters
Players will stay at Hotel Z, run by the mysterious AZ, and befriend a trainer, either Urbain or Taunie depending on the protagonist you choose.
Players will get involved in the urban redevelopment project run by Quasartico Inc. CEO Jett. She is aided by her assistant Vinnie.
