A new event and a new Pokémon’s debut will be coming soon to Pokémon Sleep! The Summer Festival 2026 will begin on August 10 and it will also be the first time players can encounter Hawlucha in the game.
Summer Festival event details
The Summer Festival will be taking place in all areas from Monday, August 10 at 4:00 a.m. until August 17 at 3:59 a.m. It will also introduce two new Curry/Stew dishes. Players can complete event missions for rewards and also enjoy a number of bonuses:
- Dishes will be set to “Curries/Stews”.
- Final Strength gains from dishes will be multiplied by 1.5 (or 3 for Extra Tasty dishes or 4.5 for Extra Tasty dishes on Sunday only).
- A few Pokémon of different sleep types will appear during sleep research regardless of your sleep type for that day.
- Certain Pokémon will be more likely to appear during sleep research.
- You may meet certain Shiny Pokémon!
- The limited-time Candy Cram-o-matic function will be available.
During the event, Hawlucha’s appearance rate will be boosted and the following Pokémon will also have their appearance rates slightly boosted:
- Squirtle
- Caterpie
- Psyduck
- Slowpoke
- Farfetch’d
- Doduo
- Pinsir
- Totodile
- Wooper
- Shuckle
- Heracross
- Delibird
- Mudkip
- Swablu
- Piplup
- Dwebble
- Ruffle
- Grubbin
- Cramorant
- Quaxly

Hawlucha arrives in Pokémon Sleep
In Pokémon Sleep, Hawlucha is a Flying-type Pokémon and can be encountered with the Slumbering Sleep Type in the following areas: Greengrass Isle, Cyan Beach, Lapis Lakeside, Greengrass Isle (Expert), and Cyan Beach (Expert). It has a higher appearance rate in Cyan Beach (Expert) than other areas.
