The first section of Pokémon Pokopia‘s Expansion Pass will be launching on August 5, most likely alongside the new update that adds underwater exploration for all players! The initial DLC will add the Bubbly Basin town to the game, which includes new Pokémon to befriend, outfits and furniture.
The August 5 release date was revealed in a Japanese trailer that has now been made private, signaling that the information may not have been intended to go live today. It confirmed the inclusion of Corsola, Stunfisk and Starmie.
The free update will introduce the move Dive which will allow all Pokopia owners to explore and build underwater in certain areas, no DLC needed!
Following the release of the Pokopia Expansion Pass‘s Part 1: Bubbly Basin, Part 2 will add new features to the game later this year and Part 3 will add a second DLC town next year.
