The animated film Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu from Aardman Animation has had new artwork revealed following a talk at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The Director of Original Animation at The Pokémon Company International, Phil Rynda, spoke about the upcoming film during Aardman Animation’s panel.
The film will be released in 2027 and follows the adventures of Sirfetch’d and Pichu throughout Galar. So far, only a short teaser clip has been released.
James Turner, Art Director of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, revealed on Twitter that he is also involved with the film.
