Pokémon reveals 30th Celebration TCG expansion

The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration expansion has been officially revealed today, a special addition to the trading card game to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary. It will release worldwide on September 16.

Fans will have several reasons to be excited about the upcoming expansion, if they can get their hands on it at stores:

  • 30 classic Pokémon cards will be making a return
  • 30 unique Pikachu foil cards by different illustrators will be featured in the set — each booster pack will contain one of them
  • A new rarity, Futuristic rare, will be making its debut featuring illustrations by Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN
