The Pokémon Horizons anime is currently airing a new season in Japan which explores different aspects of the Pokémon world which correspond to our real-world spin-off titles, including Pokémon UNITE. To celebrate the crossover, UNITE will be introducing special Pokémon and player cosmetics and two new playable Pokémon!
New cosmetics
Players who buy 60 gems or more in UNITE will receive a Captain Pikachu Holowear outfit for Pikachu.
There will also be missions to unlock avatar cosmetics that allow you to dress up as Liko and Roy.
New playable Pokémon
Inspired by Roy and Dot’s Pokémon, Skeledirge and Quaquaval will be joining Pokémon UNITE as the next playable Pokémon. Skeledirge will make its debut on June 4, with Quaquaval following on June 19.
Holowear for the two Pokémon was also previewed and can be seen in the image above.
Anime-inspired Solo Mode
Ready to take on Liko, Roy and the gang? A new Solo Mode event inspired by Pokémon Horizons will be available to challenge as part of the collaboration from June 19 until July 1.
