A new Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion has been announced, Pulsing Aura! It will be released on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. CDT and includes new Mega Evolved Pokémon cards, including Mega Lucario ex and Mega Lucario ex.
The expansion features one booster pack to pull from and also adds new digital accessories for your collection, including covers and backdrops.
A new feature will also be introduced with the Pulsing Aura expansion: gold frames! Collecting 10 of the same card (rarities ◆, ◆◆ and ◆◆◆) will automatically grant players with a gold frame. Additional gold frames can be obtained by trading additional duplicates.

New ex Pokémon cards include the aforementioned Mega Lucario and Mega Sceptile, as well as Vaporeon ex.
Other new cards include Kubfu and its evolution Urshifu, as well as new Trainer cards like Korrina and Arena of Antiquity.
Upcoming events
The official Pokémon website has revealed upcoming events in TCG Pocket starting in late April:
- Late April to early May: Celebrate a year and a half of Pokémon TCG Pocket with the Special Event 2026. Take on special solo battles to obtain promo cards and complete missions to get Zygarde ex, accessories, and more.
- Late April to late July: Complete Handy Card Collection Missions to obtain useful Trainer cards that can turn the tide of battle, such as May, Cyrus, and Giovanni.
- Early May: During the Community Week event, missions will be available where you can trade and share cards to obtain trade hourglasses, special accessories, and other rewards.
- Early to mid-May: Battle in the Pulsing Aura Emblem Event to earn emblems that you can set on your player profile, and complete missions to earn useful items.
- Mid- to late May: Complete solo battles to earn B series vol. 8 promo packs during the Mega Heracross ex Drop Event, and collect Treecko and Gallade promo cards during a wonder pick event.
