Replay: GO Bigger

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. local time, the Replay: GO Bigger event will be taking place in GO. The following Gigantamax Pokémon will be appearing in Max Battles during the event:
- Gigantamax Venusaur*
- Gigantamax Charizard*
- Gigantamax Blastoise*
- Gigantamax Gengar*
While the event is taking place, the following bonuses will be in effect:
- Max Particle collection limit increased to 1,600
- All Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles
- Power Spots will refresh more frequently
- Additional Power Spots will be active
- 8× Max Particles from Power Spots
- Up to three Special Trades for the day
- From April 24 at 5:00 p.m. to April 25 at 8:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), the daily Remote Raid limit will increase from 10 to 20
- 2× Max Particles from exploring* (12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time)
- 1/4 Adventuring distance to receive Max Particles* (12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time)

Steeled Resolve event details

The Steeled Resolve event introduce Orthworm, the Earthworm Pokémon, into Pokémon GO! You can see the normal and Shiny coloration of Orthworm below. The event will run from Tuesday, April 28, at 10:00 a.m. until Monday, May 4, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.


Players may encounter Shiny Meltan when using the Mystery Box! If you haven’t, it’s a great time to connect GO to Pokémon HOME — depositing a Pokémon will grant you a Mystery Box. You can also get one by sending a Pokémon to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Let’s Go, Eevee! through the GO Park. It works like an Incense and Meltan will spawn for an hour.

Steeled Resolve: Taken Over event details

For the second half of the Steeled Resolve event, from Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. to Monday, May 4, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the Steeled Resolve: Taken Over event will be running. Players will see Team GO Rocket appearing more frequently in balloons and at PokéStops.
During the event, the following bonuses will be in effect:
- You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.
- Pokémon caught via one-star and three-star Shadow Raids during the event will have a wider variance of Attack, Defense, and HP.
- Shiny Varoom will make its Shiny debut and may hatch from 12 km eggs
- Team GO Rocket Grunts and the leaders, Sierra, Cliff, and Arlo will be using different Shadow Pokémon.
- Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available at PokéStops.
You may be able to encounter the following Shadow Pokémon by defeating Grunts:
- Shadow Helioptile*
- Shadow Dewpider*
- Shadow Morelull*
- Shadow Stufful*
Players can challenge Giovanni to get a chance at capturing Shadow Landorus.

Entei Shadow Raid Day details

The first event in May will be Entei Shadow Raid Day, taking place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. local time. The following bonuses will be in effect:
- Up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
- Increased chance of encountering Shiny Entei from Shadow Raids.
- The Remote Raid limit will increase to 20 from Friday, May 1, at 5:00 p.m. to Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PDT.
