The three cities hosting Pokémon GO Fest for 2026 have been announced, as has a day featuring Lotad, Feebas and Clamperl!
Pokémon GO Fest locations announced
Tokyo, Chicago and Copenhagen will be hosting the 2026 Pokémon GO Fest in-person events! You can learn more and purchase tickets on the official Pokémon GO website. These will take place in May and June.
Replay: Water Research Day details
Feebas, Clamperl and Lotad had previously gotten research days, but those were years ago and now fans get another chance to capture more in the Replay: Water Research Day on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Players spinning PokéStops may get event-themed Field Research Tasks that reward an encounter with one of the three featured Pokémon which will also have an increased chance of being Shiny.
Additionally, Pokémon such as Magikarp*, Chinchou*, and Mareanie* will be spawning in the wild.
