Blipbug and Scorbunny star in March Pokémon GO events

Two March events have been detailed for the mobile game Pokémon GO, the Bug Out event introducing Blipbug and its evolutions to the game and a Community Day featuring Scorbunny.

Scorbunny Community Day details

Scorbunny Community Day will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Raboot, Scorbunny’s evolution, can evolve into a Cinderace that knows the featured Charged Attack Blast Burn during the event.

Players will be much more likely to find Shiny Scorbunny during Community Day. You can see its normal and Shiny colorations, as well as those of its evolutions, below.

The event will also update Cinderace’s move pool, allowing it to learn the Charged Attack Pyro Ball which has a power of 75 in Trainer Battles and 150 in Gyms and Raids.

Bug Out event details

The Bug Out event will take place in GO will take place from Tuesday, March 17, at 10:00 a.m. until Monday, March 23, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time and Blipbug will be making its debut! It can be evolved into Dottler, which can then be evolved into Orbeetle.

During the event, regular Lure Modules will attract different Bug-type Pokémon depending on the day:

• March 17 at 10:00 a.m. to March 19 at 10:00 a.m. local time: Paras* and Sizzlipede*
• March 19 at 10:00 a.m. to March 21 at 10:00 a.m. local time: Cutiefly* and Sizzlipede*
• March 21 at 10:00 a.m. to March 23 at 8:00 p.m. local time: Combee* and Sizzlipede*

There will also be event bonuses that can be unlocked via the GO Pass.

There will also be event-themed Field Research tasks that may drop from PokéStops during the event.

*An asterisk denotes a Pokémon that may be Shiny when encountered.
