A new season will begin soon in Pokémon GO — the Memories in Motion season will start on March 3 and last until the morning of June 2, 2026. During this time we’ll see the introduction of Blipbug, Dottler and Orbeetle, as well as Gigantamax Pikachu!
One exciting change coming to the game is the ability for evolved Pokémon to be Shiny if their pre-evolved form has already had its Shiny debut. That will definitely be a nice change and hopefully result in a few extra surprise Shiny encounters ✨
On the other hand, in a more controversial move, the game has announced it will be moving away from paid tickets for events to GO Passes, which have historically been more expensive.
