Flamigo’s debut, a Valentine’s celebration and more have been announced for February in Pokémon GO!
Carnival of Flamigo event

The Carnival of Flamigo event will be taking place in GO from Tuesday, February 3, at 10:00 a.m. until Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time and brings Flamigo to the game! While the event is active, the following bonuses and activities will be available:
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Lotad, Shiny Spritzee, and Shiny Pikipek
- 2× Incense duration
- 2× Daily Adventure Incense duration
- 500 Additional Stardust for catching Flamigo
- Event-themed Field Research tasks
- Event-themed Collection Challenges
- Free Timed Research
A paid Timed Research will also be available, with a new avatar pose as one of the rewards.

Oricorio Catch Mastery event

The Oricorio Catch Mastery event will be taking place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. local time. The Oricorio form available will depend on the region in which you’re playing:
- Baile Style Oricorio: Appearing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
- Pom-Pom Style Oricorio: Appearing in the Americas
- Pa’u Style Oricorio: Appearing on African, Asian, Pacific and Caribbean islands
- Sensu Style Oricorio: Appearing in the Asia-Pacific region
While the event is active, players can take advantage of the following bonuses and activities:
- Increased chance of encountering Shiny Oricorio
- 2× XP for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better
- Increased Candy for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better
- Event-themed Field Research
- Free Timed Research throughout the event
Valentine’s Day event

The Valentine’s Day celebrations will take place in GO from Tuesday, February 10, at 10:00 a.m. until Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The following bonuses and activities will be available:
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Nidoran♀ and Shiny Nidoran♂
- Increased chance to hatch Shiny Nidoran♀, Shiny Nidoran♂, and Shiny Cherubi (7 km Eggs)
- 2× XP for catching Pokémon
- 2× Stardust from opening Gifts
- A Global Challenge which can unlock free Timed Research awarding encounters with Spinda with a heart pattern and more
- Evolve Kirlia during the event to get a Gardevoir or Gallade that knows the Charged Attack Synchronoise (Gardevoir and Gallade encountered after three-star raids will know the Charged Attack Synchronoise)
The ability to trim your Furfrou from Natural Form to Heart Trim form will also be available!

Players can use the Change Form button to select the trim which costs 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
Road to Kalos event

The Road to Kalos event will take place from Monday, February 23, at 12:00 a.m. until Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. local time and is a whirlwind of different wild Pokémon and Raids, so I recommend you check out the official blog post for the full details.

One cool addition will be the chance to get special backgrounds for Legendary Pokémon inspired by the games in which they’re found.
