August is winding down, but something big lurks in the deep: Dondozo will be making its debut in Pokémon GO! Plus details about September’s Community Day which will feature Flabébé.
Sunkissed Shores event details
The Sunkissed Shores event will be taking place in Pokémon GO from Monday, August 25, at 10:00 a.m. until Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time and introduces the Pokémon Dondozo into the game!
While the event is active, players can take advantage of a double Raid Battle XP bonus.
There will be multiple Paid Timed Research available for purchase, with one rewarding players with a Pinap bag for their avatar.

Flabébé Community Day details
The September Community Day in Pokémon GO will feature Flabébé, the Single Bloom Pokémon, and will take place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
The color of Flabébé that you can find will vary on your real-world location:
- Red Flower Flabébé: Appearing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
- Blue Flower Flabébé: Appearing in the Asia-Pacific region
- Yellow Flower Flabébé: Appearing in the Americas
White Flabébé and Orange Flabébé can appear no matter where you are.
The featured attack is the Charged Attack Chilling Water which will be known by Florges when it is evolved from Floette from the start of the Community Day until September 21 at 10:00 p.m. local time. Chilling Water has a base power of 65 in Gyms and Raids but has a base power of 60 in Trainer Battles with the additional effect of lowering the opposing Pokémon’s Attack.
The following bonuses will be active during the event:
- Limited-time Evolution requirement: Evolve Floette into Florges after earning seven hearts with Floette as your buddy.
- 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day.*
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust.*
