A new Pokémon Astronomical Observatory exhibit has been announced and it will be travelling to different locations in Japan for fans to experience and Starry Sky Pikachu is its mascot! The exhibition will have facts about both our universe and space, as well as information about Pokémon that have a connection to space.

Currently, the exhibit is scheduled for the following locations and timeframes:
- Sagamihara City Museum: November 1, 2025 until January 12, 2026
- Tohoku region: Spring and summer 2026
- Toyohashi Museum of Natural History: Autumn 2026
- Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture: Winter 2026
The exhibit will feature information in both Japanese and English. There has been no information about whether we’ll see the observatory event move to locations outside of Japan, however the Pokémon Fossil Museum will be going international with its exhibit in 2026.
